Jay-Z Thinks That It's Time To "Pop Bottles On The White House Lawn".

As the November to remember date of the 4th inches closer and closer I continue to hear media pundits question whether our increased enthusiasm in the "youth" voting bloc demographic will truly translate into votes for Barack Obama.  Honestly, I can't blame them for 2nd guessing us ... historically, our voting turnout has proven to be wild low and our excuses for not showing up en masse to the polls are full of holes my nigga. It is what it is.

Ever the optimist though, I know that this election can be different as this is not only a referendum on the Bush Administration, John McLame and the Republican Party in general, but, for once, we truly have a horse in the race whom we fervently believe in.  Listen, it shouldn't take this approach, but, if Jay-Z can make followers give their X5 BMW's to their baby mamas and burn their valuable and collectible "throwback" pro sports jerseys and purchase button downs like they just came out, then I sincerely hope that those same people will follow Mr. Shawn Corey Carter to the voting booths - with their valid I.D.s of course!  Take nothing for granted.

BONUS:
Per our usual interactions here, in order for Y.O.U. to fully participate in Livestyle, it is imperative that Y.O.U. understand where the homie is coming from and the work that I reference. So yeah, the title of this post came from this song. What's good?
