"To commemorate the release of the new NBA Live 09, gaming giant EA Sports, Live 09 cover boy Tony Parker, and Nike have come together to create the NBA Live 09 Nike Hyperdunk PE. A special PE for TP, the Live 09 Hyperdunk features a Metallic Silver upper with a digitized pixel print on the toebox, eyestay and ankle, a Black Swoosh, and a Black midfoot. The pixelized upper sits on a fully translucent outsole that exposes the NBA Live 09 cover art."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: I've really been feeling the subtle design accents that Nike has been adding to these special limited edition Hyperdunk kicks lately yo. These Tony Parker Player Edition (PE) joints are good money too my nig. Not only do I not much indulge in video gameplay of any sort, but, my brothers that are certified sports game fanatics don't even business with NBA Live like that anymore. I've got it on good authority, from both Niketown and Mandalay Jay (Livestyle gaming correspondents each) that the NBA Live franchise reportedly hasn't been poppin' since @ least 2002. Hey, maybe I'm just a sucker for the word "Live" on the outer sole of the shoe ... lol. Honestly, it's the creative completeness of this shoe that has me sold; from the metallic and black colorway, to the pixellated toe and, of course, the game cover on the sole.
These Hyperdunks are scheduled to drop this Saturday, October 11th, in both LA and New York. LA’s Beverly Center House of Hoops will be receiving 42 pairs, while Harlem’s House of Hoops will have 30 pairs on hand. Yeah, Y.O.U. already know that you're going to have to fight for your right to own a pair of these bad boys and Y.O.U. still might try to make it down to Diesel afterwards for a pair of "Dirty Thirty" jeans. It don't stop.
