Trey Songz Wraps Up His "Anticipation 2our" In NYC x Brings Out Fabolous x Big Sean To Perform Both "Oh My" x The "Oh My (Remix)" Live @ MSG.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: SMH. The young G.roupie I.n T.raining singing along, providing deepthroat-ready commentary and presumably recording this footage for her scrapbook of nubile whore memories is annoying as fi-di-duck, but, hey, it's the weekend ... and this is just the type of random ass hit-or-miss soy-based content filler that the internet is givin' up come Saturday and Sunday. Deal with it!. LOL. Message To My Livestyle Hombres: Don't trip. A new #TwerkTeam video soon come! Enjoy!

Fat Joe Ft. Trey Songz - If It Aint About Money (Official Music Video) x A Special Livestyle Commentary.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Listen, on a scale of 1-10, my interest level is holding @ a strong "5" with regard to Fat Joe's upcoming album, "The Darkside Vol. 1". Now, while registering a "5" certainly doesn't qualify as earth shatteringly high anticipation on the "Give-A-Fuck" chart, this is significant because we are talking about Fat Joe.

For the better part of a decade Fat Joe has torpedoed any honest chance that he may have had of etching his name alongside the greats in the Hip Hop history books by wasting his time and his marginal talents engaging in petty, largely 1-sided, losing squabbles with greater rap luminaries than he - most notably 50 Cent and Jay-Z. Add that to the fact that he is 1 of the most unoriginal niggas in the game and Y.O.U. basically wind up with a windbag who hated himself out of any hopes of relevancy ... well, almost.

Since the beginning of his career, Fat Joe has always shined brightest when he puts the bullshit to the side, gets on his grind and sticks to being the hardest working hustler coming out of the Bronx. Thankfully, with his latest release "The Darkside Vol. 1" on deck, Mr. J.ealous O.nes E.nvy seems to have reconcentrated his formidable forces on making a full length player that is actually worth listening to. That I even halfway care about this album is a promising sign in and of its self. Message To Fat Joe: Don't blow it! Set a trend for once in your life my nigga ... lol.

Sure, this video is your requisite gaudy jewelry/cars/strippers-with-dreams-of-grandeur showcase but, it's a good look nonetheless. I fux with this song. Good shit!

NEW MUSIC: Fat Joe Ft. Trey Songz - If It Aint About Money (Mastered)(Dirty)(NO DJ)

Streaming Audio/Download Link: Fat Joe Ft. Trey Songz - If It Aint About Money (Mastered)(Dirty)(NO DJ)

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Thankfully, for your ears and mine, Fat Joey Cartegena has learned from his last album's "Aloha" debacle with Pleasure P (NOTE: Y.O.U. will probably never read that name here again as even merely typing the name "Pleasure" in relation to another dude makes me highly uncomfortable ... lol) and, this time around, instead enlisted the talents of the homie Trey Songz for this "If It Aint About Money" record. I don't know how I completely feel about this song yet (UPDATE: Yeah, I decided that I DO fux with it just as this entry went to press ... lol), but Fat Joe's "Darkside" is looking kind of bright. Good shit!

On Newsstands Now: Young Jeezy x Trey Songz Cover The April/May 2010 Vibe Magazine x Nicki Minaj x Drake Cover The April 2010 XXL Magazine.

Uno.

Dos.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: NOTE: The April/May 2010 Vibe Magazine is a dual cover featuring the formerly "Young" Jeezy and Trey Songz, however, in the wake of the brief, yet intense Trey-1-N-1 outbreak that swept away the hearts of budding P.Y.T.'s everywhere earlier this year, I will only be posting Mr. 17.5's canvas as I refuse to broadcast any sexually suggestive content that might cause my still tender recovering female readers to relapse. I have a responsibility to them AND, more importantly, myself because, while Trey is a cool nigga, I don't give a fuck about that statutory type shit ... lol. If any Livestyle readers of the fairer sex care to see that other cover posted here, please feel free to petition my little sister Aisha and tell her to get back on her j-o-b.

Oh yeah, the April 2010 XXL Magazine features Nicki "Female-Rappers-Are-Irrelevant-So-I-Will-Have-To-Do" Minaj and Drizzy "I'm-A-Corny-Nigga-But-At-Least-I-Know-It-And-That-Almost-Makes-Me-Cool" Drake AKA "Wheelchair Jimmy" on the marquee. Y.O.U. see it!

The First Lady of LiveStyle Says: Bro say no more! I may be M.I.A. around these parts but I'll never forget about my LiveStyle duties! It's only fair that I give my girls some eye candy around here. We see enough Nikki Minaj look-a-likes on the regular. #NoShots! LOL! With that being said, I want my fellow LiveStyle Ladies to indulge in this helluva cover Trey graced his presence with!

Enjoy!

Jay-Z Addresses Illuminati Rumors (Sort Of), Laughs Off Lil Wayne's Bank Account x Covers The February 2010 Issue Of Interview Magazine.

Uno.

Dos.

Tres.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Soooooooooooo, 2 days ago much of New York City and the Tri-State area rediscovered commercial radio for 2.5 hours as Jay-Z took to the airwaves alongside his tour apprentices Young Jeezy and Trey Songz to address the rumors of his involvement with all kinds of Satanic secret societies. Jay-Z's numero uno cheerleader, Angie Martinez, served up the softball questions.

Largely sparked by message board dwellers whom read and/or YouTube entirely too much fiction, a relatively small yet noisy minority has all but dubbed Shawn Corey Carter the Anti-Christ. In short, waaaaaaaay too political Hov said that while he does believe in GOD he does NOT believe in or adhere to any organized religion. Such ambiguity has only fueled the fires of insatiable conspiracy theorists bent on uncovering the nefarious plots that constantly seek to undermine Humanity. It is what it is.

In other news, Young Vito covers the February 2010 issue of Interview Magazine (NOTE: A timely tome created by the brilliant late, great iconic American artist Andy Warhol and Gerard Malanga in 1969. Yeah, Y.O.U. aint know that, did ya? You're welcome.) and licks 2 quick shots @ Birdman's asinine claims that Lil Wayne is more lyrical and ... wait for it ... has more money than him. LOL. The media blitz continues.

NEW MUSIC: Amerie Ft. Trey Songz - Pretty Brown Eyes x A Special Livestyle "Respect The Architects" Commentary.

Streaming Audio/Download Link: Amerie Ft. Trey Songz - Pretty Brown Eyes

The First Lady Of LiveStyle Says: Let's cut straight to the point. If Y.O.U. haven't noticed by now, I have to feed my Trey addiction just as much as Y.O.U. do, if not more. I'm just going to assume Amerie's serenading vocals are an even exchange and should make up for my over exposure of Trey as of late. I'm sure Y.O.U. understand. If Y.O.U. dont, too bad. LOL!

This reinterpretation of the Mint Condition classic "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)" is a track that I wasn't expecting to hear on her 4th album titled "In Love & War" which actually released early this past November. While we all know record sales matter, but no longer mean what they used to, Amerie's numbers don't take away from the fact that she is still making good music. I'm glad to see her slowly but surely come back from her hiatus. Even if her return may not be as strong as we would like for it to be, atleast she's staying afloat.

BONUS: Respect The Architects:

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: In accordance with the official Livestyle doctrine and my ongoing efforts to expand your mind and contribute substantively to your complete social refinement, I must include the original version of the song featured here today.

Mint Condition's "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)" is quite possibly 1 of the most perfect contemporary R&B ballads ever made. Released in 1992 off of their "Meant To Be Mint" album, this tune brokethrough during the "New Jack Swing" era and remains an enduring slow jam classic.

Message To The Younger Members Of The Greater Livestyle Community: When Y.O.U. are young, understandably, the mere shock that Y.O.U. are actually having sex may prevent one from truly savoring and fully experiencing the moment in totality - a fact that is clearly reflected in much of today's music. Now, don't trip, none of this is to say that "quickies" aren't fun (Because they sooooooooo are!), however, sometimes it's best to take your time. Make them beg. Take note ... THIS is baby making music.

NEW MUSIC: Trey Songz Ft. Usher x Keri Hilson - Re-invented Sex AKA The Trey1N1 Epidemic Continues.

The First Lady Of LiveStyle Says: @SongzYuuup released the news about this leaked version of "Invented Sex" earlier today via Twitter featuring the legend we know as Usher and the talented Ms. Keri Hilson. She definitely bodied her verse, but it was better to hear Usher "Re-Invent Sex." Between me and Y.O.U. it almost sounded like he was trying to teach his young protegé a lesson. I wonder what my friend Rio has to say about this. Whatever the case may be, lesson learned. So what if I gave Y.O.U. a double dose of Trey today? Admit it ... it was worth it. I'm not complaining, my fellow LiveStyle Ladies aren't, and Y.O.U. better not be either! Enjoy! ;c )

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Believe me, I take no joy in admitting to this, however, to thine self I must be true - I have been an active enabler in my little sister's self-destructive and debilitating Trey Songz addiction. I apologize for her behavior. She will be seeking professional help over Christmas vacation ... please keep her and other young women afflicted with the Trey1N1 virus in your prayers. Message To Aisha: Dude, get a room!

Trey Songz - One Love (Official Music Video)(Premiere)

The First Lady of LiveStyle Says: As my title holds, I know that I am not supposed to be an emotional mess but leave it to Trey Songz to make me all mushy and wish I was in a relationship. (Key Word: wish) With my iTunes play count at a staggering 189 plays, I can honestly say "One Love" might be one of my all time favorite songs, EVER. Although I like the album version better than this live rendition, if Y.O.U. listen to the lyrics, the feelings and emotions of the song are still evident. Note to Trey: "Ain't Y.O.U. tired of the runnin' around. Don't Y.O.U. wanna be my only boo?" Okay.. Okay.. I'm done. LOL! ;c )

NEW MUSIC: Drake Ft. Kevin Cossom - I Get Money (Dirty)(NO DJ)

Streaming Audio/Download Link: Drake Ft. Kevin Cossom - I Get Money (Dirty)(NO DJ)

I think we can all agree that if Drake keeps this up, we might not be disappointed once his highly anticipated album, Thank Me Later, finally does drop. At least, I hope so. Y.O.U. may be on the fence. Then again, I might be too. I feel like he could make the mistake of not putting Trey Songz on songs like this, because I definitely don't know where this new Rookie of the Year, Kevin Cossom, came from. Is he even "ready for primetime"? He almost sounds like a young Akon. But hey, to each his own! Maybe the label is trying to minimize his budget. I'll let Y.O.U. tell it.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: As many long time loyal Livestyle readers (is there any other kind?) may note, I rarely, if ever, lead off a brilliant day of blogging with a "NEW MUSIC" post. I mean, I just don't do it. However, per the request of my cousin and 1 of the founding Livestyle community members, Mr. Alieka, I simply had to post this song. My favorite She-E.O./little sister AND partner in crime, Aisha AKA Ms Windy City deftly handled this entry, but, don't act like Y.O.U. don't know where the orders come from! LOL! I L.O.V.E. my family! Let's get it!

NEW MUSIC: Trey Songz- One Love (I'm Ready, Are Y.O.U.?)

Streaming Audio/Download Link: Trey Songz- One Love

This is why I L.O.V.E. Trey! As much as I hate doing this, as the lone female voice around these parts, I felt obligated to Y.O.U. and my LiveStyle duties to make this post. I was so upset when I heard that his latest full studio album Ready leaked online yesterday because of my high hopes for Trey. Be that as it may, out of the 17 track CD, I felt it was only right to give Y.O.U. @ least one offering from this stellar project. "One Love", in my to always be respected and accepted opinion, is the best song that we haven't already heard off of this joint.

If anyone knows me, they know that I am a true believer and supporter of Trey for a number of reasons. He is not just your average artist but a talented, driven, and passionate human being. I respect him, his craft, and everything that he does for his supporters. There really are no other words for it.

Everyone has their opinions towards the leak and whether or not it even compares to the recent mixtape he dropped, Anticipation. To each his OR her own, but if Y.O.U. are a true supporter, Ready officially drops September 1st ... just because it sprung an early leak doesn't mean that we can"t patch it up ... lol.

NEW MUSIC: Drake Re-Up: Go Ahead, Say What Y.O.U. Want. I Fux Wit It!

Drake- The Winner
Drake- Juice
Drake- Something
Drake-Stunt On You

Information Courtesy of: www.hotnewhiphop.com

NO I am not a bandwagon fan, and YES I somehow managed to put my brother Chris Live AKA Shaker on to the Drake team. I have been faithfully following this talented young man since his days before So Far Gone. Back when no one knew about Comeback Season or Room for Improvement and "Replacement Girl", featuring Trey Songz, was largely an unheard of track, I believed. How early am I? unheard of.  Ahhhhhhhh, I L.O.V.E. the sound of hidden gems.

I feel like people forget the fact that Drake doesn't just rap but sings as well. Now Y.O.U. can argue what he is better at and come to your own conclusion. I have the right to mine. Although he is vocally no John Legend, or even his confidante Trey, personally I think he gets the job done. Taking a page from his B-O-S-S Mr. Lil "Young Money" Wayne Carter's forthcoming Simon & Schuster published book entitled "In 2009 There Is No Such Thing As Overexposure", Drake and the marketing wizards behind his reintroduction to the rap game @ Hip Hop Since 1978 have just released a slew of new songs.  My favorite from this bunch is "Something." But he is really making me want to "Stunt on Y.O.U."

And now I wonder what Chris Live, a true musical connoisseur, has to say about this.  None the less, I fux with it. Enjoy! ;c )

P.S.
I couldn't make references about @SongzYuuup himself and not show him love too. If you haven't heard Anticipation yet, Y.O.U. are most definitely losing.
