CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: As we have discussed previously, although the Livestyle elevated sense of social hierarchy frowns up regular misguided wandering excursions into the Trendoid filled forest of "mass fashion", 1 can, and should, make an exception when something as grand as the über limited edition BBC/Ice Cream BP3 "So Ambitious" t-shirt collection comes along.

Does it help that the inspiration for this range is 1 of my favorite *Cue Jamaican Voice* chunes on Jay-Z's latest magnum opus the Blueprint 3? Yes, of course it does. Much as the case with similar Holy Grail Hipster haberdashers as Supreme and, now, Comme des Garçons, I cannot hold BBC/Ice Cream completely responsible for being absorbed by such parasitic pop-culture sponges and, as such, I can no longer categorically front on this brand. Now, will Y.O.U. ever see me in BBC/Ice Cream from the rooter to the tooter? No. Nevertheless, as long as the homie Pharrell continues to drop product like this, I'll happily drop some fetti on these exclusive soft serve treats!

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Whilst I have not been a fan of cartoon characters adorning any articles of clothing since my cousins Rob, Javon and I were heavy into our J.C. de Castelbajac and Iceberg collections, I do fuxs with these BAPE Spongebob Croc Leather kicks. I mean, if Y.O.U. can't find it within your discontented heart to appreciate these 1-of-1 sneakers, then, Y.O.U. must, @ the very least, respect the custom made purple crocodile Hermès Birkin Bag that reportedly ran the homie Pharrell 80 large and that, now, is just a mere prop in this new photo. Yeah, it's like that my nig. As long as Skateboard P stays the fuck out of the pink furry Mukluks, he will continue to stand heads and shoulders above that other guy - Kanye West ... lol.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: While some people have lambasted Pharrell Williams as a fraud and accused him of busting an ollie onto the skateboard bandwagon about 2 decades too late, I personally do NOT think that the "P" in Skateboard P. stands for "poser" ... lol.

I grew up skateboarding my way through Flatbush, Brooklyn and grinding @ "The Banks" underneath the Brooklyn Bridge on the Manhattan side, so, although I don't skate anymore, I have always respected the scene and still feel a very real connection to that world.

Sure, Pharrell doesn't have the street pedigree that I and, to a much larger extent, some of my NYC contemporaries have, but I applaud his sincere L.O.V.E. of the game and his passion for thrashing. If, indeed, as the magzine title suggests, the goal is to take skateboarding "Trans-World", then Pharrell has done his part my nigga.

Pharrell has done his homework and I appreciate that these limited edition BBC/Ice Cream Skateboad Decks look curb ready and, more importantly, are available @ a very reasonable price point. I mean, them BBC boys could easily charge $200 or more for these decks and have every trendoid hipster trying to snatch a board up just so they could barely balance on it while they strenuously stretch their tight jean wrapped legs attempting to push their way through SoHo. Yes, BBC could have done that, but, thankfully, they did not. I respect that. So, the moral of the story is that I fuxs with these boards and Y.O.U. should too! Real recognize real.

Oh yeah, as Y.O.U. may have been able to glean from the title of this post, my random pop culture reference game is "Deliriously" "Raw" like a young Eddie Murphy. Tell a friend.

BBC x Goyard @ Newly Reopened Colette Store, Paris.

World renowned high-end luxury luggage, Parisian company Goyard recently created a custom trunk for BBC @ the newly renovated and reopened Colette store in Paris. The typical attention detail and quality that is the hallmark of every Goyard piece is there, except, this time, it's on a grand scale! This 1-of-1 trunk was designed especially to fit BBC's complete current collection in it and sits prominently in the corner of the store. Don't get your hopes up, these trunks are NOT expected to be released to the public homie. You might be able to find a smaller version of a basic Goyard trunk somewhere and do your own thing in the crib though.

The BBC/Ice Cream Boys Are Back!

I have NEVER been a fan of the tight jeans Skittle© colored candy look so, thankfully, they toned it down for their 2008 Fall roll out. You might catch me in 1 or 2 pieces from this line. Can you pick out the vintage Ralph Lo inspired pieces?

Believe it or not, I respect Pharrell's style ... he is a true artist. I just can't fuck with all of the lames who don't know the difference between appreciating and taking specific cues from another person as opposed to completely "vamping" (old school word of the day!) a nigga's whole style.  Have some fucking' integrity!  Oh yeah, I think that the BBC/Ice Cream lookbook layout is pretty rad too.
