CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Believe me, I take no joy in posting this Young Jeezy "Death Before Dishonor" B.lowing M.oney F.ast freestyle.
This response to Rick Ross and his criminal identity crisis of a song is upsetting NOT because it's a clear diss record - Señor Rozay's Gold Medal Flour® masquerading as authentic M-I-Yayo Colombian cartel linked kilogram tales of snort yore are suspect @ best and, therefore, open him up to all kinds of legitimate scrutiny - but, because Mr. 17.5's rebuttal is so damn b-a-d ... and NOT in that cool opposite-meaning Run DMC OR L.L. Cool J "Give me that walkie talkie" way either ... lol.
Listen, everybody knows that I fux with Jeezy - he's ridden a nearly flawless streak of classic hoodster material to the top of the rap game since dropping "Thug Motivation" back in 2005 - so I've largely paid no mind to all of the fickle critics announcing a premature postmortem on his career, however, I would be a motherfucking liar to say that things look good for him right now. Son's music just aint hitting these days my nigga.
Message To Young Jeezy: "Lose My Mind" almost made me lose my lunch when I heard Plies on it (NOTE: The solo version with Y.O.U. alone on it is the shit though). "All White Everything" featuring Yo Gotti was a step in the right direction although it's barely doing anything. And, "Jizzle" with Lil Jon ... well, I don't even wanna talk about that horrible, horrible mistake homie.
Of course you've got all the right in the world to dump a few shots @ the "Bawse" for running with your team's name to the top of the charts, but, please don't turn into 50 Cent my nigga. Bitter and whiny is NOT becoming. Scrap the bullshit and just get back to motivating the thugs and delivering that uncut raw that make a Hip Hop fiends body jerk. Y.O.U. already know!
