Helloooooo Ladies: The Alexander McQueen "Thriller" Faithful Glove Clutch = R.I.P. The Runway.

"Carry this handbag and pay tribute to both the late Alexander McQueen and his inspiration for this piece: the iconic Michael Jackson. McQueen's Thriller Faithful Glove Clutch is a black whipsnake design clutch that features two angled zipper pockets and a white fingerless glove embellished with white Swarovski crystals on the front. The glove is attached to the bag with a snap and is (presumably) removable. The interior is fully lined in purple/plum with one inside zipper pocket and has a snap closure. Certainly an accessory meant to start a conversation. $1,920"

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: On the penny loafer heels of last night's powerful Drake Degrassi "dance-off" post, comes the glitteringly glamorous Alexander McQueen "Thriller" Faithful Glove Clutch. Call it fashion fate or sexy sartorial serendipity, but, now this clutch designed by the late, great Alexander McQueen to memorialize the late, great Michael Jackson and his famed sequenced glove now serves as a tribute to both fallen icons.

This updated version of the "Faithful" purse features a detachable Swarovski-embellished white leather glove fastened to this "Thriller" zippered luxurious black whipsnake clutch. Now, given the fact that Michael Jackson and Alexander McQueen are each no longer with us, some have unfairly declared this clutch to be a "ghostly" grab bag that hits too close to home in light of their recent deaths. I respectfully disagree.

To me this handbag homage (NOTE: Pronounced "hoe-maj" by fellow snobs ... lol) is a delightful send-up of 2 men who spent their lives entertaining our senses. This is not macabre, this is masterful and @ $1,920 this talk-of-the-town tote is just out of grasp for those whom might make it frightfully crass. It's not what Y.O.U. do mama, it's ALL about how Y.O.U. do it. Tell the lames to "Beat It"! ... lol. Holla @ ya boy in BK!

"‘Bout To Go "Thriller" Mike Jackson On These Niggas, All I Need’s A Fucking Red Jacket With Some Zippers" = #Truestory

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Whilst I have seriously scaled back my "NEW MUSIC" postings in the wake of the R.I.A.A. fueled Blogger terms of agreement violations witch hunt, there is no sanction (NOTE: @ least none that I know of ... lol) that would preclude me from simply quoting a new hit record. All that I can say about Drake and his good-but-not-nearly-worthy-of-the-hype-pile-on-that-it-is-currently-receiving song, "Over" is that, as evidenced by the selected lyrics in the title of this esteemed entry and the timely .Gif image above from his Degrassi days, "Wheelchair Jimmy" is, indeed, a man of his word! Salute this human being.

The Official Livestyle MTV 2009 VMA's Recap AKA This Is The G-Cap/This Is The G-Mix!

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Sooooooooo, who would have guessed that asshole South Carolina Congressman (R) Joe Wilson would become such a trendsetter! Yes, lack of decorum is the new "black", behaviorally speaking of course, as both Kanye West and Lil Bow Wow in drag AKA Lil Mama inappropriately bumrushed the stage of last night's MTV V.ideo M.usic A.wards show.

Kanye West's spontaneous combustion occurred when Taylor Swift beat out Beyonce for "Best Female Video Of The Year" or something like that (NOTE: Kanye West was right!) and he bogarded the mic from shorty in an effort to defend Beyonce's honor - Hey! Aint nothing like sucking up to the boss's wife! LOL. Going heavy on the Hennessey will do that to a nigga. It is what it is.

Now, Lil Mama's story is a tad more sad. There are conflicting reports that either A) A drunk Randy Jackson prank called her before the show and put her up to this OR B) Lil Mama got confused and thought that it was "America's Best Dance Crew" time. Did I mention that Lil Bow Ma (I just made that up!) rushed the stage when Jay-Z and Alicia Keys were performing "Empire State Of Mind" off of that BP3? Not that Lil Bow Ma had much of a career to speak of, but, please believe that nobody steals Young Vito's shine and that the industry "blackball" is well in motion.

Oh yeah, Madonna gave an eloquent and, in my esteemed opinion, sincere tribute speech to the late, great Michael Jackson. Janet Jackson lip synched her way through her and her late, great brother's song "Scream". Amber Rose bodied the red carpet. Lady Gaga killed a vulture and wore it to the show and then, during her set, bled all over the stage ... true story. Wale proved that he is a boring media creation with no chance of poppin' in the real world and Beyonce, well Beyonce just did her beautiful thing! Holla @ ya boy in BK!

UPDATE:

Kanye West's ALL CAPS LOCK Apology To Taylor Swift (From His Blog):

A Tribute To The Great: Michael Jackson.

"He was lauded and ridiculed. He broke down barriers and built them around himself. He soared to heights unimaginable with his music, and he made the ignominious front page of gutter tabloids worldwide. For Michael Jackson, the spotlight was always present, and the rest of the world followed. That spotlight stayed with him on Tuesday as fans mourned around the world and thousands paid tribute to the King of Pop at a Los Angeles memorial."

HEARTBREAKING NEWS: Michael "The King Of Pop" Jackson Has Died AKA R.I.P.: Long Live The King.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Obviously, almost 24 hours after the fact, the untimely sudden death of the world’s most recognized superstar, Michael Jackson, is no longer “breaking news”. I read the same early messages on Twitter announcing his cardiac arrest, coma and finally his passing as I trust many of Y.O.U. had, however, rather than play who-can-update-their-blog-the-fastest, I had to A) Get a real news outlet to officially confirm this tragedy and B) Honestly, I had to let the shock settle in.

Although, in the words of 1 of my favorite preeminent authors, Dream Hampton, Michael Jackson had long ago committed “racial suicide” by way of vehemently denied yet clear to everybody massive surgical body disfigurement, I still had L.O.V.E. for the homie. Before Michael Jackson became a ghastly shell of his former cuddly self, he dominated the music charts and the hearts of millions of fans worldwide. Check this out: If Y.O.U. are over the age of 26 and did not have a red or black “Beat It” 100 zipper leather jacket with removable sleeves and/or songs like “P.Y.T.”, “Billie Jean” and the aforementioned “Beat It” don’t send Y.O.U. into an immediate dance floor frenzy, then I must question when Y.O.U. became cool enough to enjoy this blog and, moreover, whether or not Y.O.U. actually had any real childhood to speak of @ all. Before I wanted to be like Big Daddy Kane and Rakim, I wanted to be like Mike.

We all know the countless molestation accusations levied against him and, whilst never convicted, c’mon … he had to have touched some of them kids. Sadly though, I believe Michael Jackson to be as much of a victim in his own right as well – of his father’s frustrated ambition channeled through his sons, The Jackson 5, of his unparralleled fame, his childlike innocence and ultimately of his compulsions. He was a freak AND he was a freakin’ genius – a beautifully complex dichotomy that confused, amused and thrilled us all. For better or worse, there will never ever be another like Michael Joseph Jackson. Hey, he even made Jay-Z a fan boy for a day … lol. GOD bless Michael Jackson's soul and give the entire Jackson family righteous resolve in their time of need. Moonwalk.
