GROW UP: Vertu President Perry Oosting's 10 Essential Luxuries = Follow The Platinum Brick Road.

"Welcome to our new feature, "10 Luxuries." For each installment a notable figure in the world of luxury, tastemaker or stylish personality will tell us about the 10 necessary luxuries they simply cannot do without. Related quotes and images of each item can be found in the gallery.

Perry Oosting became president of Vertu, the world's leading luxury mobile phone manufacturer, earlier this year. He joined the company with extensive experience in the luxury industry via senior roles held at several blue chip brands including Bulgari, Prada, Gucci and Escada. Vertu uses the finest materials from the world of watchmaking, automotive design, aeronautics, and jewelry to create truly unique mobile phones of unparalleled craftsmanship and exclusivity, such as the new Ascent Ti Carbon Fiber. Vertu is also the only phone in the world to ever receive a hallmark from the Swiss Assay Office, the organization that guarantees the quality of the world's finest watches. In the gallery, Oosting reveals his 10 essential luxuries, from his favorite hotel, watch and car to shoes, wine, writing instrument and more, and tells us what makes them a must."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Livestyle is a lifestyle. Essential to the practice of this decadently demanding ideology is a sincere and complete appreciation for the luxuries of life - simple and byzantine both. Sartorial refinement and maturation is only borne from experience and, when not necessarily of millionaire means, an individuals ability to take valuable cues from the lucky few amongst us who can and do fly the friendly skies in G5 P.rivate J.ets can prove helpful. Be clear, this is about inspiration and aspiration; NOT duplication. Livestyle is decidedly against all forms of "biting" - please refer to the sign that Rakim Allah posted on the door.

To that end, Perry Oosting, president of the world's leading luxury mobile phone manufacturer, has recently dropped a jewel worthy of study and appraisal. The spirit of affluence is alive and well for us H.igher E.arning N.ot R.ich Y.et blokes and the virtuoso of Vertu has just given us a dignified list of his favorite things. From hotels to watches, cars to shoes, this compilation of Vertu President Perry Oosting's 10 Essential Luxuries is a must read. Step your tax bracket up! Watch and learn.

Helloooooo Ladies: The Bvlgari Bvlgari Moon Phase For My Black (x White x Latina x Asian) Barbies Dipped In Bvlgari.

"The current economy has not been kind to Bvlgari, both in its watch and jewelry selling capacities. Not to be discouraged, Bvlgari has apparently returned to its roots with new designs that are attractive and conservative, though complex. A barrage of new models will be released at Baselworld in April, and the public reception of these watches will be an indicator of Bvlgari's short-term economic future.

New to the women's line is this updated "Bvlgari Bvlgari" (Bulgari Bulgari) Moon Phase watch. The classic name is taken from the double use of the brand name on the bezel. The dial is mother of pearl with diamond pavé decoration in a crescent moon shape. Opposite is the moon phase display also in mother of pearl. Other than the moon phase display, the complications are simple with just the time and a subsidiary seconds dial. Powering the watch is the automatic mechanical B77 movement, with applied Côte de Genève and perlage polish decorations.

The 38mm case is steel - as the company must remain a bit more modest these days - and is attached to a handsome white alligator strap with a folding deployment clasp. It is a fine luxury watch that is unmistakeably Bvlgari, exactly what the company needs right now. Availability starts in May at select Bvlgari boutiques."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: While I pay chivalrous attention to women and their needs in the handbag and shoes department, rarely do I post watches that combine both the feminine flair necessary for my ladies and successfully meet the overall flyness requirements for Livestyle.

Yes, it has been many moons since I've featured timepieces for the dimepieces, however, the new Bvlgari Bvlgari Moon Phase Watch satisfies every criteria in my book and is my gift to Y.O.U. ... lol. On the real, this watch looks to be strong enough for a man, but expertly made for a woman ... lol. For the record, the house that the great Greecian Sotirios Voulgaris built in Italy waaaaaaaaaay back in 1884, is 1 of the few firms (along with Cartier) whom I will except watches, clothing and accessories from - timelessly transcendent companies such as these are stellar examples of true full-service luxury goods manufacturers.

In any event, from the "BVLGARI" double etched bezel to the brilliant pavé encrusted half-moon adorning the mother of pearl face, the Bvlgari Bvlgari Moon Phase Watch is right on time. I know that yall occasionally want to go toe-to-toe with your man's watch, but, hopefully, this oversized trinket will not cost H.uman G.rowth H.ormone oversized bucks ... lol. Be clear though ma: You've gotta pay to play. Holla @ ya boy in BK!

BONUS:

C'mon! The obscure reference in this entry's title isn't really that obscure @ all. That having been said, it is still my duty to keep Y.O.U., the loyal Livestyle reader, completely informed. You're welcome. You're all welcome!
