Orchard Street x Reebok Collection Preview.

"This month, Reebok cashes in on NYC-based clothing label Orchard Street's—cred, with a capsule collection that includes two pairs of sneakers and two hoodies that you can play matchy-match with. Pictured above is OS's take on the Pump Omni Hex Ride. Check for the 4-piece range to hit top RBK retailers on December 15."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Loyal Livestyle readers et. al should all be quite familiar with my ongoing pursuit of these sneakers and of the entire collection for that matter. My longest-running-friend-and-brother-from-another-mother Mr. 401K 1st apprised me of the Orchard Street x Reebok collection in the Spring and I was awaiting my very own prestigious package for the Summer. Alas though, as Fall comes to a close and Winter draws neigh, I am still without my early pairs of kicks (yes, plural motherfucker!) and this dope range is set to hit retailers in a few days.

Orchard Street is a true "man's man" brand ... they've been grinding for years producing limited qualities of fine clothing and eschewing the gimmickery that all too often has, unnecessarily, become part and parcel of the current streetwear scene. Seriously, I don't know how much more free press I can give this range without a sample of the goods ... lol.

Reebok NYC Court Victory Pump x "FLASH" Pop-Up Store @ 160 Bowery.

"Calling all fans of choice kicks, if you currently have no reason to feel “pumped” up, maybe you should revisit the classic Reebok sneakers. The brand that pitted Dan and Dave against each other in the race for Olympic glory so many years ago is finally getting around to erecting their very first pop up store. Beginning November 15th, the hot spot for Reebok apparel will be the Reebok Flash store at 169 Bowery in Manhattan. In addition to some sweet and fashionable threads, each successive week will bring the release of a new limited edition sneaker available for that week only, the first of which will be a hot pair of Insta Pump Fury. The store will be around for one month — that means four new kinds of kicks. So do yourself a favor, get down there as soon as humanly possible starting this Saturday, because the shoes you want are sure to be gone in a flash."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Honestly, Reebok has never been able to supplant the sneaker mammoth that is Nike, however, if they've ever come close, it has been with their über popular "Pump" model. In what is fast becoming de rigeur marketing for any brand in the "know", in celebration of 20 years of inflatable freshness, Reebok has opened up this cool "pop-up" store installation @ 169 Bowery Street in lower Manahttan, NYC.

Now, because I must keep it all the way funky with Y.O.U. the Livestyle reader, as has already been explicitly established, I am NOT a fan of bright sneakers and hard-to-match-without-looking-like-a-gay-circus-clown pastel colors ... lol. With that said, although Y.O.U. won't see me in the pair featured here, the detailing accents are superb and I am excited to see what other colorways Reebok will be offering these kicks in.

Believe it or not, I have a few pairs of Reebok x Orchard Street exclusives waiting for me courtesy of my-oldest-friend-and-brother-from-another-mother Mr. 401K. Hey, Y.O.U. know what would be really nice? It would be amazing and completely apropos if I could run up in this Reebok "flash" store, wearing my Orchard Street dandies thereby unleashing a footwear fury the likes of which has not been seen since my brother Niketown pimp strolled on the whole King's Plaza in his Japan Edition Lebron James Player Exclusives in 2006. Yes, women would faint and children would weep. Yeah, that would be awesome.

BONUS:
Livestyle has a standard of greatness to uphold, therefore, I cannot allow a random nugget of information (even if quoted from another source and not directly attributable to my own random use of "fun facts") without providing proper context. If Y.O.U. fancy yourself a true sneaker connoisseur, then, Y.O.U. simply must know this commercial. You're welcome. You're all welcome.
