I had the pleasure of meeting the Nanotech reps in Chicago this past weekend and they walked me through the features of this futuristic gadget. Not only can Y.O.U. make and receive phone calls, but there are text message and email options along with a built in 1.3 megapixel camera for photo and video capabilities. Can we say DOPE! The First Lady Of LiveStyle Says: I take my duties as the chief contributing LiveStyle Lady very seriously so it's only right that I present to Y.O.U. one of Chicago's finest fashion forward femme fatales: Anna Hovet. I had the distinct pleasure of being introduced to Anna's work by a mutual friend who wanted me to actually participate in creating her look-book. (Shout out to James "Mr. 10 Photos" Harris for trying ever so hard to make a model out of me! LOL!) Although I wasn't successful in doing so, I still had the pleasure of meeting Anna shortly thereafter @ Leaders where she was holding a clothing drive for Homeless Shelters in Chicago. Yes, it's true that us LiveStyle Ladies are certainly more than capable of just being fly females.. ;c ) 

As a Designer in Residence at the Chicago Fashion Incubator, Anna's work has been featured in the September issue of Lucky Magazine and recently graced the cover of The Chicago Tribune to name a few. As Y.O.U. can see, her Fall '09 collection is nothing less than amazing. The limited edition pieces are available for sale at select boutiques as well as online @ www.annahovet.com.

Although I missed the debut of her Spring/Summer '10 collection this past week in Chicago's famous Millenium Park for the kick-off of the annual Macy's Designer's of Chicago Show, thankfully, I was lucky enough to see previews of her latest enchanting collection in the confines of my Gmail. I won't spoil the surprise but I can give Y.O.U. my guarantee that Y.O.U. will be anything but disappointed when I post the Spring line in it's entirety. My advice to Y.O.U. until then: Stay Tuned! Leaders Do Real Shit x Chris Brown Does Real Work.

Ever since the incident (that Y.O.U. and I are ALL too tired of hearing about) I have had a hard time cosigning anything that Chris Brown does.  However, that having been said, when it comes to being a brand rep for my company, I almost have no choice.  Although I wish he wasn't wearing a fresh fitted emblazoned with the Leaders Seal as he carried ladders and looked to be taking out some pent up anger on some innocent bushes on his 1st day of court ordered community service, at least he is being productive and was nice enough to wave to the spectators.  In the almighty words of Mike 100's "Leaders. Don't believe it? Y.O.U. can peep it on the brim."

All I'm going to say is that I am disappointed with the Clipse. My brother @JoeFreshGoods said it best, "Good artists copy. Great artists steal." The concept behind Dope Boy Magic was to create a brand based off things that shaped our culture growing up in the urban community. The line symbolizes the era of style, art, culture from 1981-1992. Everything about Dope Boy Magic was set out to be innovative and fun, from how the product was sold to the packaging it comes in.

Now whether this "Sticky Business" video was done before or after Dope Boy Magic was put into production is questionable, but I find it ironic that the Clipse video surfaced shortly after they had an in-store at Leaders. S-m-h... Now Y.O.U. tell me what Y.O.U. think.
