Limited Edition Veuve Clicquot x Riva Cruise Collection Set AKA Young Yacht Club Business.

"And the very mention of Veuve Clicquot again would make you bath in champagne but this time not in an isolated room rather on a cruise in open sky. Yes, if you failed to put your fingers upon Veuve Clicquot Night Clubber and the lavish Champagne that they produced to celebrate their 130th anniversary then here is another that you make you feel surely high. Against its earlier association with Karim Rashid for Globalight Cum Champagne Cooler, now Veuve Clicquot is in news for designing a cruise collection for luxury Italian boat designer RIVA. Jason Bruges Riva is the luxury speedboat company behind the iconic boats of the 60’s and the golden age of the Dolce Vita lifestyle. The design collaboration with Riva is for Veuve Clicquot’s top champagne (prestige cuvee) called La Grande Dame, and details two different accessories for Riva boats: a “made to order” piece and a limited edition one.

The “made to measure” cruise collection would cost $80,000 and includes 4 bottles of La Grande Dame 98, 2 magnums of La Grande Dame 88, 6 champagne flutes Riedel and 6 water tumblers, plates, table mats and cutlery. Another one is a limited edition cruiser bag with counted 300 pieces available and includes a bottle of La Grande Dame 98 and two champagne flutes. Expected to be available from July, it is priced at $425 and would be available at Veuve Clicquot.

All [of] the pieces are made of mahogany, chrome and leather - and made by some of the world’s best craftsmen."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: As a founding member of the world famous Veuve Crew, this story puts ice in my bucket and warms my extravagantly inebriated heart ... lol. As I have probably mentioned before, while everybody else was chugging overpriced bottles of Cristal in the empty hopes of reenacting some rap video, my young, yet highly discerning friends and I discovered Veuve Clicquot and unanimously placed our bets on the orange label.

Our choice of Veuve Clicquot as our favorite bubbly should come as no surprise though as the house that Philippe Clicquot-Muiron built waaaaaaaaaay back in 1792 played an integral part in establishing champagne as the preferred beverage of the haute bourgeoisie and nobility throughout Europe. Yeah, basically, we are in good company ... lol.

With that said, Y.O.U. already know that I fuxs with this Limited Edition Veuve Clicqout and Riva Cruise Collection Set. While I might not be able to swing the custom made to order $80,000 joint, I'm all over the $425 set homie. Classy is as classy does. Good shit.
