From my knowledge (and the help of good ol' Wikipedia) Pierre Jaquet-Droz was not only a Swiss-born watch maker but an entrepreneur responsible for building a team of master craftsmen to aid him in his manufacturing of delicate timepieces, songbirds, and automatons back in the 18th century. Today, that same spirit of excellence is glowingly represented by each piece from the current limited edition Jaquet Droz Diamond Studded Watch Collection.
This old world firm has managed to breathe life anew into this cosmos inspired collection by capturing the feeling of invention, freedom, and curiousity that is part and parcel of space exploration.
