CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: With ticket prices a mere $50, Jay-Z's "I've got a new album to promote" dressed up as benevolent 9/11 memorial "Answer The Call" concert went off without any major hitches last night.
Far from his best concert (@ times his impeccable flow was off and much of the crowd seemed kinda wack in light of what they were witnessing), Jay-Z did manage to pull off a successful show that seamlessly integrated new classics from his Blueprint 3 album along with true classics from previous LP's and guest performances from friends and music industry cohorts.
I recall when a night with Young Vito @ New York City's legendary Madison Square Garden was actually a really colossal event (NOTE: They, and most other large venues, weren't too keen on letting Hip Hop rule for a night), however, now it's like the big homie simply has keys to the place ... lol. It's all good though ... it's still all Brooklyn! Good shit!
