We celebrate these industrious individuals the only way that we know how - with BBQ's and, in Brooklyn, the amazing annual West Indian Day Parade. Alas, we are also saddled with a palatable sense of sadness as well as we bid adieu to the Summer that we once knew. Yes, Labor Day marks the "official" unofficial end of the beach season.
Take the bitter with the sweet and get ready to kick off the Fall 2009 fashion season ... I'll see Y.O.U. @ Bryant Park (The MTV VMA after parties too!). Oh yeah, if you're still in school (which is a good thing) get ready to hit the books hardbody karate and cheat off of an Asian kid. LOL! I keed. I keed. HAPPY LABOR DAY 2009!
