CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: After approximately 2.5 weeks of true Summer weather on the East Coast side of things, Autumn is already ushering in a cool that rivals that of the other side of my pillow. Don't get me wrong though, I welcome the transitional seasons of Spring and Fall for they allow Beau Brummel's such as myself and my lovely Livestyle Belles the very best opportunity to layer labels and looks and truly get fly. Now, male OR female, I am of the opinion that successful ensembles assemble @ the foot and gracefully work their way upwards. For that reason, I proudly bring to Y.O.U. the exquisite Fall 2009 Salvatore Ferragamo Landry High-Top Sneaker.
Before Jay-Z recently declared that this year it's "all black everything", it has long been accepted as fashion Gospel that "black is beautiful" (DISCLAIMER: In moderation though, don't bug the fuck out and O.D. on some Emo-Kid/Goth shit ... I would be forced to disown Y.O.U.).
Composed of succulent black calf leather with tonal suede trim and topstitching and advertising their legendary horseshoe logo, these high end high-tops put a proper modern twist on the classic Salvatore Ferragamo aesthetic. I mean, it's only right - these strapped up lace ups follow in the demanding traditions of this luxury footwear (and, now, full scale upscale clothing and accessories empire) firm responsible for introducing such innovations and the wedge and the cage heel. Who knows, these $550 kicks just might 1 day make it to the Palazzo Spini Feroni. Huh? Yeah, Google it! This is Livestyle!
