HAPPY LABOR DAY 2010!!!!

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Once again it is that special time of year for us ALL to honor the tireless efforts of the men and women of the American workforce with BBQ's, free flowing booze and last minute beach runs as today ALSO marks the official unofficial end of yet another Summer that has set too soon. I mean, it's only right. This is the American way.

For proud Caribbeans, and Crooklynites in particular, today is also the annual West Indian Day Parade! Yes, while this steel drum pulsed body of Island vibes is a shadow of its former self, Brooklyn, NY's Eastern Parkway is still a prime place to tell the fast approaching Fall season, "Fi sell off!" as Y.O.U. defiantly squeeze every last bit of Peanut Punch out of the Summer whilst swimming in a sea of women, floats and national flags.

If only for 1 day, contrary to what our friend young Calogero Anello in the classic movie "A Bronx Tale" thinks, the working man is NOT a sucka ... lol. Cheers to Y.O.U.! HAPPY LABOR DAY 2010!
