CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: First of all, do Y.O.U. mean to tell me that it has already been 20 years since Rosie "Tina" Perez jump started my puberty as I watched Spike "Mookie" Lee run ice cubes around her pert nipples!? Really? Where does the time go? Anyway, in the years since this contemporary classic film was released (NOTE: A film which articulated a raw inner-city angst that threatened to consume us all years before the L.A. riots following the heinous Rodney King trial verdict), both Spike Lee and the Air Jordan sneaker have become legendary pop culture staples in their own rights.

Spike Lee has worked tirelessly to carve out a creative niche that demystifies the "Black Experience" for a largely mainstream audience and, in the process, humanizes us all in the eyes of 1 another. In the case of the sneakers, well, on his way to becoming the greatest basketball of all time (NOTE: Sorry Kobe. You're great brother, but, come on ... lol), Michael "Air" Jordan elevated not only his game and the entire sport of basketball, but, also his signature shoe to icon status. Yes, The Air Jordan I (1) Emerald Green/Sea Green release from the "Do The Right Thing" Pack commemorating the 20th Anniversary of this cinematic masterpiece is truly Heroin Chic.

The O.G. Air Jordan model represented "dope boy fresh" back when a young hustler could make an honest million via Nynex® corner payphones and pagers and movies like "Do The Right Thing" got shot up @ The Kenmore Theatre on Church Avenue in Brooklyn USA. Ohhhhhhhhhh, the good old days! LOL. Snatch up these limited edition dandies for old times sake and, if they should ever get dirty, just break out the good toothbrush and get to scrubbin' homie - it's the American Way. This is Livestyle.
