The Drx. Romanelli "Field Medic" Blazer For Barney's Japan For Spring/Summer 2011 = Diagnosis: Murder.

"Darren Romanelli can do no wrong in Japan; in addition to the general appreciation of his creations (and a willingness to pay the prices they demand) by the Japanese market, Romanelli also has an exclusive partner in Barney’s Japan. The latest in his series of exclusive creations for the retailer is this Field Medic Blazer. The cut does evoke a standard men’s blazer, with a double lapel and two side pockets, and an interior done in a luxe burnt salmon satin. The formal wear influences stop there, however: the jacket has a quilted insulation in full camouflage; a military vintage garment care tag under the right armpit is one of those great Romanelli details. Romanelli’s embellishment also shows up writ large on the back of the garment, in the form of a chainstitched decoration. Check out images of the jacket after the jump; for those interested, get your proxy service lined up now, if you’re not in Japan."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: With a doctorate in dopeness, one of the leading aestheticians practicing the art of "fresh" today, the esteemed Drx. Romanelli, has once again rendered his unparalleled services to Barney's New York (Japan).

The latest exclusive to the Japanese market (NOTE: Unless you've got some heavy connects in the "Land Of The Rising Sun" will to score Y.O.U. 1 of these surely über limited edition jackets by proxy.) collaboration between Drx. and Barney's is this Spring/Summer 2011 Drx. Romanelli "Field Medic" Blazer for Barney's Japan highlights all of the deconstructed glory that devotees have come to expect from the good doctor.

An expert @ reimagining the familiar, this Dr.x quilted camouflage blazer maintains a classical "dinner jacket" cut with a jolt of color that comes courtesy of a smoked salmon pink satin lining. The pièce de résistance, however, is clearly the elaborate embroidery on the back of the jacket featuring the words "FIELD MEDIC" in block letters, a large Caduceus (NOTE: The universal symbol of medicine that we've ALL seen which is rooted in Greek mythology and is associated with the Greek god Hermes. Yes, a working knowledge of history is an important Livestyle requirement too!) and the name "Doctor Romanelli" in a chainstitched yellow lasso style script.

Too bad the price tag on this bad boy probably spells trouble for your wallet AND your blood pressure ... lol. I'm pretty sure that Obamacare does NOT cover this! LOL. Holla @ ya boy in BK!
