Helloooooo Ladies: The Limited Edition Jimmy Choo Sneaker Launch Pre-Fall 2010 Collection = Chooly Yours.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Leave it to the London based, Malaysian master of high flying stilettos to lose the heel and still manage to raise the shoe making bar. In addition to his standard 10cm arching monuments to good female form, Jimmy Choo slipped 8 pairs pairs of sneakers into his Pre-Fall 2010 collection.

Attempting to do the "Okey Pokey" with such lace up luminaries as Pierre Hardy and Lanvin, means that Jimmy Choo has spared no expense to fix these kicks in exotic skins accompanied by decadent details like gold star-shaped shoestring eyelets and star-print sole.

Hopefully Y.O.U. share the same "money is no object" attitude as Jimmy Choo and his partner-in-crime, the stunning Tamara Mellon because these dandies will give Y.O.U. a mini-marathon run for your money. Scheduled to hit Jimmy Choo stores and select retailers worldwide this May, these sleek sneaks should start somewhere around $473 and high-top out @ a respectable $633 for the hi-top looks. Message To All Non-Livestyle Ladies: *Cue Grand Puba Voice* "Step to the rear".

BONUS:

My affinity for recondite pop-culture references reveals itself @ the most curious of times. I often start a post about 1 seemingly completely unassociated topic and, out of nowhere, somewhere long the line, a tapestry of words is woven together that is full of both wonderful randomness and some truly powerful gems. Case In Point: My allusion in the main body of this post to Grand Puba Maxwell's oft overlooked solo classic, "Step To The Rear".

As a founding member of the "Masters Of Ceremony" Grand Puba has a rich Hip Hop lineage that predates his time running with the N.ow R.ule (NOTE: N.ow R.ule is the 5% Supreme Alphabet abbreviation for New Rochelle, New York. Yeah, I know ... I owe Y.O.U. @ least a brief introduction to the language of Universal Mathematics) Mob, but the homie truly came into his own with Brand Nubian's debut album "One For All" and this tune did the trick!

Grand Puba has always exhibited a great talent for Reggae tinged, slightly melodic flows coupled with witty and intelligent lyricism and "Step To The Rear" covers all bases. Even today, most rappers can't fuck with barbwire sharp bars like, "If Pu ain't the answer, then you must be sick as cancer/Smooth romancer, let it ring, I'll probably answer/So come take a dip with your "private dancer"/Nasty, naughty/Over 6' call me shorty/But I'm looooong...I'm like Stretch Armstrong/I go/On and on and on and on". This is 1 of my all-time favorite songs ever! True story. Yeah, so don't talk to me about all these new rappers until Y.O.U. do the knowledge to some true rappers! Holla @ ya boy in BK!
