NEW MUSIC: Amerie Ft. Trey Songz - Pretty Brown Eyes x A Special Livestyle "Respect The Architects" Commentary.

The First Lady Of LiveStyle Says: Let's cut straight to the point. If Y.O.U. haven't noticed by now, I have to feed my Trey addiction just as much as Y.O.U. do, if not more. I'm just going to assume Amerie's serenading vocals are an even exchange and should make up for my over exposure of Trey as of late. I'm sure Y.O.U. understand. If Y.O.U. dont, too bad. LOL!

This reinterpretation of the Mint Condition classic "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)" is a track that I wasn't expecting to hear on her 4th album titled "In Love & War" which actually released early this past November. While we all know record sales matter, but no longer mean what they used to, Amerie's numbers don't take away from the fact that she is still making good music. I'm glad to see her slowly but surely come back from her hiatus. Even if her return may not be as strong as we would like for it to be, atleast she's staying afloat.

BONUS: Respect The Architects:

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: In accordance with the official Livestyle doctrine and my ongoing efforts to expand your mind and contribute substantively to your complete social refinement, I must include the original version of the song featured here today.

Mint Condition's "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)" is quite possibly 1 of the most perfect contemporary R&B ballads ever made. Released in 1992 off of their "Meant To Be Mint" album, this tune brokethrough during the "New Jack Swing" era and remains an enduring slow jam classic.

Message To The Younger Members Of The Greater Livestyle Community: When Y.O.U. are young, understandably, the mere shock that Y.O.U. are actually having sex may prevent one from truly savoring and fully experiencing the moment in totality - a fact that is clearly reflected in much of today's music. Now, don't trip, none of this is to say that "quickies" aren't fun (Because they sooooooooo are!), however, sometimes it's best to take your time. Make them beg. Take note ... THIS is baby making music.
