Helloooooo Ladies: The Giuseppe Zanotti High Heel Chain Open Toe Pumps = 1 Pretty Penny.

Available Online Here: www.bloomingdales.com

The First Lady Of LiveStyle Says: I am absolutely 100% confident that my fellow LiveStyle Ladies will surely agree, that shoes like these fabulous cuban link-like goldtone chain trimmed asymmetrical Giuseppe Zanotti High Heel Chain Open Toe Pumps are ever so easy on the eyes - especially when walking through Bloomies on a breezy Sunday evening. I know it's not just me!

Priced at a mere $650, Y.O.U. might need to prepare yourself for this pretty penny of an expense. In the words of my somewhat foreign sister @MushiWooshi, "That's 2 months of my car payment!" What can I say? Y.O.U. gotta pay the price to look this nice!

Signing Off...

"Watch "Casino", I'm The Hip Hop Version Of Nicky Tarantino, Ask Nino, He Know"

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Much like the revelatory seminal urban gangster cinematic masterpiece, Scarface, "You're Nobody (Until Somebody Kills You)" is completely 1 B.I.G. quotable ... there are simple too many memorable bars composed in this record to fairly single out any 1 excerpt. Listen and learn and then listen AGAIN ... lol. Good shit. Think B.I.G.

Biggie x Jay-Z Perform "Get Money" Live @ Ralph McDaniel's Birthday Bash Circa Circa 1996.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: NOTE: In the post "Hawaiian Sophie" aeon of his storied career, this is the ONLY time that Y.O.U. will EVER see Jay-Z relegated to playing "hypeman" and 2nd fiddle to any other MC. Biggie was and, until this very day, remains truly "Unbelievable". Think B.I.G.

Maino Talks Lil Wayne's Jail Sentence, His "Trina, Kim Or Nicki" Joint x More With DJ Green Lantern Live On Invasion Radio @Thatshiphop.Com.

March 9th = ALWAYS A B.I.G. Day!

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: For the loyal Hip Hop citizenry of my era, March 9th, 1997 has become a historical flashpoint akin to that of the assassination of J.ohn F. K.ennedy, that begs the question, "Where were Y.O.U. when Biggie Smalls died?"

For me, the news met my ears early that Sunday morning as Angie Martinez sobbed live on air @ New York City's Hot 97. I wasn't home - I was @ the Uptown K.B./N.B.C. sanctuary of my beloved brothers-from-another-mother Apea and Dear (NOTE: Real names have been withheld to protect the guilty).

As often happens, the significance of an event is rarely accurately assessed @ the actual point of impact and, instead, over time evolves into something of profound importance. When B.I.G. was murdered I clearly knew that he was gone forever, but, what did that really mean? Only in the years since his (and 2Pac's) death, as I am left to stare @ the eroded and increasingly barren landscape of the rap game, can I now fully appreciate all that we lost the fateful morning those cowards riddled the passenger side of his Chevy Suburban in front of L.A.'s Petersen Automotive Museum.

At 24 years young he had accomplished more than 99.9% of his contemporaries could ever hope to achieve and the future that laid before him was paved with platinum plaques and illustrious pavé stones. What were Y.O.U. doing @ 24 years old? For the younger members of the greater Livestyle community, what will Y.O.U. have done by the age of 24? I know that as I edged towards a quarter-century on this planet that my life was nowhere close to being figured out (NOTE: Not much has changed in that department in the ensuing years either ... lol) and that, while my bars are still celebrated in underground circles, 2 classic albums and "bringing the East Coast back" is certainly not a fulfillment that can be cited on my extensive resume.

This is so much more than mere Brooklyn bias; it's not my fault that we breed the finest. The late, great Christopher Wallace AKA Biggie Smalls AKA Notorious B.I.G. AKA Frank White, even in his death, continues to influence the world well beyond his earthly years and his peers. My ears, nay, OUR ears owe his bold baritone and illicitly intricate Fulton Street inspired R.I.C.O. Act raps an immeasurable debt of gratitude. Yes, we'll ALWAYS L.O.V.E. Big Poppa. Salute this man. Think B.I.G.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Livestyle community, what's the verdict on T.I.P.'s return to the Southern "throne"? Is the homie rusty? Is this seat taken? Holla @ ya boy in BK!

Helloooooo Ladies: The Alexander McQueen "Thriller" Faithful Glove Clutch = R.I.P. The Runway.

"Carry this handbag and pay tribute to both the late Alexander McQueen and his inspiration for this piece: the iconic Michael Jackson. McQueen's Thriller Faithful Glove Clutch is a black whipsnake design clutch that features two angled zipper pockets and a white fingerless glove embellished with white Swarovski crystals on the front. The glove is attached to the bag with a snap and is (presumably) removable. The interior is fully lined in purple/plum with one inside zipper pocket and has a snap closure. Certainly an accessory meant to start a conversation. $1,920"

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: On the penny loafer heels of last night's powerful Drake Degrassi "dance-off" post, comes the glitteringly glamorous Alexander McQueen "Thriller" Faithful Glove Clutch. Call it fashion fate or sexy sartorial serendipity, but, now this clutch designed by the late, great Alexander McQueen to memorialize the late, great Michael Jackson and his famed sequenced glove now serves as a tribute to both fallen icons.

This updated version of the "Faithful" purse features a detachable Swarovski-embellished white leather glove fastened to this "Thriller" zippered luxurious black whipsnake clutch. Now, given the fact that Michael Jackson and Alexander McQueen are each no longer with us, some have unfairly declared this clutch to be a "ghostly" grab bag that hits too close to home in light of their recent deaths. I respectfully disagree.

To me this handbag homage (NOTE: Pronounced "hoe-maj" by fellow snobs ... lol) is a delightful send-up of 2 men who spent their lives entertaining our senses. This is not macabre, this is masterful and @ $1,920 this talk-of-the-town tote is just out of grasp for those whom might make it frightfully crass. It's not what Y.O.U. do mama, it's ALL about how Y.O.U. do it. Tell the lames to "Beat It"! ... lol. Holla @ ya boy in BK!

"‘Bout To Go "Thriller" Mike Jackson On These Niggas, All I Need’s A Fucking Red Jacket With Some Zippers" = #Truestory

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Whilst I have seriously scaled back my "NEW MUSIC" postings in the wake of the R.I.A.A. fueled Blogger terms of agreement violations witch hunt, there is no sanction (NOTE: @ least none that I know of ... lol) that would preclude me from simply quoting a new hit record. All that I can say about Drake and his good-but-not-nearly-worthy-of-the-hype-pile-on-that-it-is-currently-receiving song, "Over" is that, as evidenced by the selected lyrics in the title of this esteemed entry and the timely .Gif image above from his Degrassi days, "Wheelchair Jimmy" is, indeed, a man of his word! Salute this human being.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Livestyle is dedicated to providing readers with an expertly curated view of enduring style. To that end, I have the utmost respect and appreciation for strong brand identities and, when such singular excellence is threatened by ill-advised associations, I am forced to reconsider my patronage of the product in question. Case In Point: PRO-Keds®.

With a rich hoopin' heritage that extends back to 1949, when Dame Dash purchased this company in the early 2000's, I was afraid that his septic tank of wack juice would overflow and warp this labels legendary leather. Thankfully, Dame Dash relinquished this company in a corporate fire sale and sold it back to Stride Rite in Spring of 2008 and PRO-Keds® has not missed a step since.

This highlight from their Spring 2010 Collection, the PRO-Keds® Royal Plus Hi Leather Sneakers offer a welcome return to the classics with just the right hint of subtle luxury that makes us fashion snobs swoon ... lol. Nope, there's not much to see here homie and THAT'S a beautiful thing. Drop a Benji on these and thank me later. Good shit.

Young Jeezy x Jay-Z "Put On Remix" Live @ MSG x A Special LiveStyle Commentary.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: As a decorated veteran of many a Jay-Z show (NOTE: Dating back to his "Reasonable Doubt" days when his "stage presence" consisted of impeccable designer duds, the requisite bottle of pre-prejudice-prohibition Cristal champagne and all the nimble witted "rich nigga rhetoric" that Y.O.U. could handle), I no longer find myself in an emotionally vulnerable state that compels me to fight for tickets in a frenzy and/or call Carline Balan and appeal to her kindest angels any and everytime that Jay-Z announces a New York City/Tri-State Area concert date ... lol.

No, me thinks that I have seen enough "Big Pimpin'" and "P.S.A." performances to last a lifetime. In fact, I could theoretically fill-in as Shawn Corey Carter's lead stage manager blindfolded! Yup, another Jay-Z show sounded just about as exciting to me as watching drying paint do taxes ... or so I thought. Dammit man! Once again, my perpetually "over it" jaded attitude mugged my happiness and robbed me of the chance to go to what, by all accounts, turned out to be an incredible concert - last night's Blueprint 3 blowout bonanza @ New York City's Madison Square Garden.

Leave it to the 1-and-only Jiggaman to turn fans and casual detractors alike into Pavlovian slobbering dogs filing into, ironically, the home of the Westminster Dog Show and, for 1 night, effectively transforming The Garden into Young Vito's very own personal house of worship ... lol. Brooklyn has experienced major gentrification and, never fail, everytime the big homie takes the stage, even other top-tier artists experience "groupie-fication" ... lol. Waddup Weezy? Yes, there are "stars" and then there are "super stars". Watch and learn boys and girls.

NEW MUSIC: Maino - Trina, Kim Or Nicki (Dirty)(NO DJ)

Streaming Audio/Download Link: Maino - Trina, Kim Or Nicki (Dirty)(NO DJ)

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Brooklyn's Black Flag waving commander-in-chief, Maino, artfully illustrates a completely legitimate point with this "Trina, Kim Or Nicki" freestyle as - much like the "Beamer, Benz Or Bentley" vehicles venerated in the original song's title - these magnificent women have also managed to rack up considerable "street mileage" of their very own ... lol. *Cue R. Kelly Pre-Pedophile Sex-Tape Video Voice* "You remind me of my jeeeeeeeeeep ..." LOL. Y.O.U. gotta L.O.V.E. it.

It's Been Fun Blogger (NOTE: We Aint NOWHERE Near Done) AKA LiveStyle Is, "On To The Next One"

Information Courtesy Of: Thehoodnerd.Com

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: To paraphrase Allen Ginsberg's consummate "Beat Generation" sonnet, "Howl", due to the recent sweeping Blogger crack-downs abruptly levied against a myriad of popular websites charged with violating Google's seemingly incongruous terms of agreement, this week "I have seen some of the best blogs of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, deleted and wiped clean from the face of the internet".

My address on Blogspot.Com lane was never intended to be a permanent homestead. No, my initial foray into the Blogosphere was simply my 1st cyberspace "bachelor pad", meant to serve as a stepping stone and, now, thanks to the impressive growth that the Livestyle brand has experienced over the year and some change that we have been "sprinkling the world with baby powder" and, more urgently, as the risk of losing ALL that we have published looms larger still, I have decided that it is time to transition to a new hosting platform. Be Clear: In order for Livestyle to succeed and, indeed thrive, Blogger must fail! To be "the man", Y.O.U. have got to beat "the man". LOL.

Alas, whilst I do have a way with words, the same does NOT necessarily hold true for HTML code ... lol. Please bear with me, Aisha and the entire extended Livestyle family as we establish our new domain and box and ship our valuables to a new and improved "deluxe apartment" in the online sky. Stay tuned. Oh yeah, if Y.O.U. have anything to contribute I say, "Stand up young man and/or young woman and let yourself be counted!" Sharing is caring. Holla @ ya boy in BK!
