Halle Berry Covers Esquire Magazine's November 2008 Issue x Writes An Article All About Being "The Sexiest Woman Alive".

"Halle Berry Is the Sexiest Woman Alive, 2008

As the culmination of our anniversary celebration, Halle Berry -- who just had a baby, like, six months ago -- presents the final re-creations of classic Esquire covers. Here, she delivers her acceptance speech.

By Halle Berry

Wow. Sexiest woman alive, huh?

I've been in the business for more than twenty years, and you decide now, at this particular time, that I'm the sexiest woman alive? Come on. I mean, you couldn't go with the Bond-girl year? You didn't like the orange bikini? I liked the orange bikini. That would have been a pretty good year. Or what about the Monster's Ball year? That was a sexy moment. Couldn't you have packaged that up with some list of the best movie sex scenes ever? That would have been very easy, very magaziney. But 2008? Well, I don't know exactly what it means, but being forty-two and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it. There are billions of women on the planet, but let's just say for shits and giggles that I am the sexiest woman alive. First, I would have to thank all the people who made it happen. I would thank the good folks at Esquire for thinking outside the box -- even if those folks are just eight editors wearing competing seventy-five-dollar button-down shirts, swinging themselves around in cheap desk chairs in some windowless conference room somewhere above Manhattan. I'd also have to thank my "team," the ones who make the magic happen -- my hair designer, my stylist, my makeup artist, and my beloved trainer. And I would absolutely have to thank the photographer, because without him, the camera is all lies of a different sort. I mean, look at the pictures. That takes a lot of work. I'm lucky to have these people. Don't think I don't know it.

Does being the sexiest woman alive imply that I know a thing or two about what's sexy and, possibly, about sex itself? I'm not sure, but here's what I do know: I know damned well I'm sexier now than I used to be. Let me make an argument here -- not so much for me, or even for my age being sexy, but for what I've learned. I've picked up a little over the years. Sexy is not about wearing sexy clothes or shaking your booty until you damn near get hip dysplasia; it's about knowing that sexiness is a state of mind -- a comfortable state of being. It's about loving yourself even in your most unlovable moments. I know a little bit about that.

Sexiness is also about knowing what's sexy to you. To me, spaghetti is sexy, especially when it's served off the tips of a man's fingers. I like that. And I think wine is sexy, just before sex. It relaxes me. But if I want to get a serious groove on -- if I want an out-of-body experience -- I'm all about the sloe-gin fizz.

I think lingerie is sexy, and I'll wear it, sure. But truth is, I'm good-to-go in a tank top and bare feet -- although every woman should own at least one good pair of pumps. That's really the only wardrobe you need for sex: a tank top and pumps.

When it comes to what I think is sexy about men, I like forearms. That's my body part. They're generally exposed, available, a little bit vulnerable. A forearm is different with every man, and when it comes to forearms, size matters. I don't like them slight.

Ask me what's the sexiest car in the world and I'll just say my man's car, because it smells like him, because his shape is pressed into the seat, because it's littered with little bits of his life -- his golf balls or his chocolate-bar wrappers -- and it's ripe with the smells of him. That's the car I most want to ride in.

What else? Ah, yes: the big O. You know that stuff they say about a woman being responsible for her own orgasms? That's all true. And in my case, that makes me responsible for pretty damned good orgasms these days. Much better orgasms than when I was twenty-two. And I wouldn't let a man control that. Not anymore. Now I'd invite him to participate. I'll tell you this: I've learned my tricks. I know what I like. I do not wait around. I initiate. And I'm not all about frequency. I favor intensity.

There have been some men in my life who have been wickedly sexy and have taught me much about sexual pleasure. There are a few men I should thank, and others I need to forget. But I don't regret. To hell with regret. I like what I am now. I like being a mother. I like my body better since I became a mother. I feel sexier as a result of becoming a mother."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: With all of the men that Halle Berry has lost, I am sure that shorty can be nuttier than a Payday candy bar ... lol.  I mean, I know that some of them niggas weren't shit, but c'mon ... that many people can't be completely wrong either ... lol.  Be that as it may, I am a fair man and I must say that Halle Berry dropped a few very precious jewels in this article. She's an honest writer ... I do L.O.V.E. exceptionally well written articles from the subject's perspective ... it's just real like that.

Anyway, too many women complicate things and unload complaint after complaint on top of their relationships until the point of abject exhaustion.  It seems like Halle has learned what being "sexy" and "strong" is truly all about.  Like so many phenomenal women, she has indeed gotten better with age.  G-G-G Get' em girl!

Hannity Lame.

If Y.O.U. are unfamiliar with this man's bitter and, often inaccurate, brand of "journalism" (if it can even really be classified as such) then, ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce Y.O.U. to Sean Hannity.

Sean Hannity's favorite currency is counterfeit information cloaked in "selective moral outrage" (that's 1 of his favorite catch phrases against the horrible "Liberals") and xenophobia masquerading as good ole patriotism. He's popular on Fox News and AM radio ... yeah, right next to Rush Limbaugh and them. Basically, homeboy is full of shit and that is precisely what makes this clip from last night's post debate coverage sooooooooooooooooo valuable! The Obama campaign's Senior Political Chief Advisor - Robert Gibbs - is not having it! Good shit!

Grow Up: Be The "Jaegermeister".

"To celebrate their 175th anniversary this year Jaeger LeCoultre have released the limited edition Master 8 Days Perpetual watch. The Master 8 Days Perpetual watch features the JLC calibre 876SQ automatic movement which has a eight day power reserve and features a perpetual calendar and moon phase indicator. The watch features a rose gold case with a clear dial and brown alligator strap. Only one hundred and seventy five will be made and will be available exclusively from Jaeger LeCoultre."

Information Courtesy Of: Sybarites.Org

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: It is no revelation to those that personally know me or now, thanks to this blog, those who have been introduced to my Livestyle ideology, that I L.O.V.E. fine watches.  Jaeger LeCoultre is a company that I have come to know and respect as a creative force in the timepiece industry that has brought not only their brand of watches to the market, but have, over the years, collaborated with and supplied mechanisms and movements for such stellar watches as those by Cartier and Patek Phillipe, to name a few.

Anyway, this Jaeger LeCoultre 175th anniversary Master 8 Days Perpetual watch is a beast my nigga! I mean, just look @ the skeleton back and appreciate the technical complications for a minute ... after all, that unparalleled craftsmanship is what Y.O.U. truly pay for when investing in a world class timepiece. Can I afford this $14,000 limited edition wrist wear work of art right now? No. Can I focus on it and possibly get it in the future? Yes. Just watch me.

Oh yeah, while we're on the topic of wrist watches, I don't care Whether Y.O.U. are right-handed OR left-handed, no adult should wear a watch on their right arm ... ever! I have spoken ... lol. On the real though, whatever Y.O.U. do homie, make sure that Y.O.U. do it right. Remember, class cannot be bought. Holla @ ya boy in BK!

Ouch! Indian Steel Magnate Catches $28 Billion Bad Break.

"Indian steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal, 58, the richest man in Europe and the 4th richest man in the world, can now be known as the world's biggest loser after his net worth plummeted by a whopping $28 billion over the last four months due to the global financial crisis. Mittal, a London resident who paid a record $200 million for a Georgian mansion in Kensington Palace Gardens earlier this year, still has $17 billion left, the London Times reports. We don't yet know how Mittal's stunning loss - which equates to $240 million / day or nearly $10 million per hour - re-positions him on the world's rich list as several other plutocrats have also suffered reversals, but it's safe to say he'll end up much further down unless the stock market recovers soon."

Information Courtesy Of: Luxist.Com

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Wooooooooooooooooooow! The homie Lakshmi Mittal just lost more fetti in a mere 4 months than the entire Forbes "Hip Hop Cash Kings" list are worth combined! Please keep this man away from any guns and rooftops ... lol. On the real though, I thought that I had lost $50 last week ... do Y.O.U. know how tight I was? LOL. This just goes to show that money, as with everything else in life, is completely relative.

NEW MUSIC: 50 Cent - Get Up (Produced By Swizz Beatz)(Rumored To Be The 1st Single Off Of "Before I Self Destruct").

Even though 50 Cent is the undisputed heavyweight champion of lazy hooks and trivial rhymes (pretty much saying NOTHING new in 99.9% of his verses according to recent polling data) I kind of fuxs with this song. If this is indeed an accurate indication of what we can expect from "Before I Self Destruct", then, consider me optimistic about this project.

Apparently, 50 and Swizz Beatz squashed their "beef", decided to get some money together and made a B-Line straight to the studio ... as bosses should. Oh yeah, I wish that there was a version of this song snippet/video on Youtube without the fucked up cartoon character, but there simply isn't any better version of this clip online @ this time. Hey, that kind of shit happens when you get product early ... lol. It is what it is.

Diddy Blog #26 = Barack Obama Is Not A Shoo-In. So, What Are Y.O.U. Doing?

As many of my loyal readers certainly know, Sean "Puff" "P. Diddy" "Diddy" Combs, has a very special place here @ Livestyle. The ebb and flow of our relationship is such that sometimes I blame him for ruining large portions of Hip Hop and, @ other times, I am inspired by his immense success and the foresight and vision that got him there. Anyway, with that said, while I have absolutely no inclination to post all of his video blogs (No, I don't need to see anybody on the toilet literally and figuratively "poppin' shit" or eating a bowl of cereal with a "bubble guts" inducing orange juice for milk substitution ... lol), his latest entry is particularly poignant as we enter the home stretch of this historic and crucial election season and deserves to be posted ... everywhere.

Basically, as I have said before, Barack Obama CAN definitely lose this election if we, as his supporters, fail to properly organize and go to the polls come November 4th. Don't let the fact that all of your friends are voting for Obama lull Y.O.U. into a fall sense of security with respect to his chances ... there's a whole lot of Republicans and disgruntled Hillary Clinton supporters out there who can't wait to tear this man down. All of the sloganeering, the random rap lyric references and the cool t-shirt wearing in support of the Democratic "people's champ" is great, but none of those actions count as votes homie. Register to vote today and do NOT allow this election to slip away from us. Take nothing for granted. Word up, I will never forgive Y.O.U. for bullshitting on something this serious yo. Let's get it!

Record Labels Are Still In The Slow Lane On The Information Highway.

"Record Labels Adopt New Technology to Sell Albums in Sagging Market
Written by Cyrus Langhorne
Tue, 23 Sep 2008 11:00:00 Z

Rihanna, Usher, Chris Brown, Akon and others will lead the recording industry's first major move away from the traditional CD format with to the introduction of slotMusic next month.

According to the Wall Street Journal, SanDisk Corp. and the four remaining major record companies have teamed up to create album-filled memory cards that will be usable on mobile phones, PCs and select portable MP3 players. The first offering of releases will include 29 albums sold in MP3 format without digital locks along with an adapter to allow consumers the ability to transfer their purchases to PCs from the USB ports.

SanDisk's general manger of audio-video business Daniel Schreiber is convinced slotMusic will strive due to its multi-compatibility with different devices.

"I don't have to convince you to buy anything; you already own it," Schreiber told Wall Street Journal. "I don't have to convince you to carry anything; you're already carrying it."

Expected to sell around the $15 price point in stores like Wal-Mart and Best Buy, other artists included in the debut batch will be Robin Thicke, New Kids on the Block, Weezer, Leona Lewis and Elvis Presley.

Composed of EMI, Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and a joint venture with Sony and Bertelsmann AG, the record companies' decision to make the digital move comes months after the success of artists like Flo Rida who previously spoke with SOHH about his record setting single "Low."

"I thought it would be big but at this magnitude I definitely couldn't predict it," he told SOHH about "Low" being No. 1 for ten weeks on Billboard's Top 100. "It's just unbelievable. I have to pinch myself sometimes."

Despite poor record sales reportedly forcing labels to try alternate methods, other artists have had no trouble selling albums including Lil' Wayne who sold over one million copies of Tha Carter III in his opening week last June.

The new device is currently scheduled to hit retail stores around mid-October."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: This sounds nice, but direct downloading is still waaaaaaaaaaay easier for even your basic computer novice. As I have already covered here @ Livestyle, it's all about greater convenience and personalization.

Message To Major Record Labels: Stop being reactive and attempting to bend the public's collective will to your whims. Go back, study the market (specifically the internet) and bring some innovation to the table. Stop trying to simply repackage the same old bullshit. I mean, @ this point, artists like myself take much of the grassroots marketing of our projects into our own hands anyway ... what are Y.O.U. bringing to the table Mr. Executive?

Absolut x Helmut Lang Online Art Gallery Exhibition.

"Absolut, which has a history of supporting art projects has created a new online virtual "gallery" showcasing Helmut Lang's "Alles Gleich Schwer". The online gallery will exist for three months @ Absolut.com/HemultLang. In the gallery you can zoom in on pieces and look at them from different angles. From the site you can also download and print exhibition posters. It's an interesting experiment and it seems suited to Helmut Lang's first solo institutional art exhibition which showcases the same lean, angular and industrial aesthetic seen in his fashion lines."

Information Courtesy Of: Luxist.Com

Visit The Online Gallery Here: Aboslut.Com/Helmutlang

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: I've long been a fan of Helmut Lang's brand and was disappointed to learn that he'd stepped away from the company bearing his name in 2005. This Austrian born designer's style has always been very minimalistic and, in some cases, severe, so, upon discovering that he was an active artist, I kind of knew what to expect from his work.

The virtual gallery and the preview of this installation collaboration with Absolut looks amazing and I L.O.V.E. the idea of eradicating the barriers between artist and consumer and presenting this exhibition to the public via the world wide web. I might have to download some pieces myself yo. Who has access to an industrial, poster print producing sized high-resolution color printer? Anybody? LOL.

Barack Obama In His Best Tony Montana Impersonation Voice: "Ok! Y.O.U. Wanna Play Rough?"

Sooooooooooooo, the McCain campaign wants to run some high risk attack ads @ Obama, huh?  They're still trying to significantly connect Barack to 60's radical and classified American terrorist William Ayers who, by all objective accounts, had a minimal relationship with Barack Obama @ best.  Now it's time for the Obama campaign to kick up some dust of their own and raise this extremely relevant "Keating 5" scandal from the 1980's that McCain was busted for and is eerily reminiscent of the financial terrorism that we are facing right now!  Fallback John McLame.

Rocky Mountain Feather Bed Co. x Waste(twice) Collabo = The "Vest" Thing Smoking!

"Established at the heart of ski country of Wyoming, Rocky Mountain Featherbed Co., a little known American outerwear label, partnered with several Japanese designers and retailers this season. This includes Japanese Indie-label Waste(twice), which just released its 2nd rendition that based on Rocky Mountain’s own classic down vest. Features a leather yoke around the shoulders with a fine pinstripe exterior created from 100% virgin wool.

Available in 2 colors, the Rocky Mountain Featherbed Co. x Waste(twice) - VOYAGE WT Down Vest is now available for purchase at both Waste(twice)’s JAM flagship stores in Tokyo and Fukuoka, as well as Cueve chapter of ZOZOTOWN shopping network."

Available Online Here: Zozo.Jp (NOTE: I still do NOT speak Japanese. You're on your own as far as deciphering this page brother ... lol.)

Visit Waste(twice) Online Here: Wastetwice.Com

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: As some of my loyal readers may recall, a few weeks back, I made it very clear that A) I L.O.V.E. a good down bubble vest and that B) the Rocky Mountain Feather Bed Co. x The Duffer of St. George collabo was on my shopping "to do" list. Well, Wyoming's finest has come with yet another powerful collaboration, this time pairing with popular Japanese streetwear label Waste(twice) and have released this doozy. I think that I like this vest even better than the 1 that I was gushing about last month. I mean, this looks like a typical outdoors man's vest that has been genetically engineered and interbred with a banker's "bespoke" 3-piece suit vest purchased along the highly prestigious Savile Row. Yeah, it's a formal bubble vest and I need it! If I can't find this vest online, I'ma have to call in some favors. Somebody get my favorite stylist Rosie on line 1 ... lol.

The Obama Campaign Says: "No Other Campaign Has Internet Swagger Like Us!"

"Over the course of the 2008 election, Barack Obama's campaign has leap-frogged John McCain online. As CBS, ABC and Politico (among others) have documented, Team Obama has far out-paced McCain in deploying web technology to fundraise, establish social networks, advertise to targeted audiences, build email lists and otherwise facilitate grassroots organizing. Now, with the release this week of its new application for the iPhone, the Obama campaign has added a powerful new tool to help its supporters get out the vote, literally wherever they are.

The Obama '08 iPhone application (available for free) brings much of the content and functionality of the Obama web site to the Apple mobile device now used by millions of Americans. Users can access positions on the issues, receive breaking campaign updates, get national and local campaign news, find nearby Obama events and browse video and photos. And as the Los Angeles Times noted, "with the device's global positioning system technology, it will give you directions to the nearest campaign office."

But the real breakthrough for political organizing at the grassroots level is the "Call Friends" feature. In a nutshell, Call Friends turns the iPhone into your own mobile, personal phone bank, letting you call and track the support of the people you know in the states that matter most.

As Stephen Shankland of CNET reported:

The most notable feature "organizes and prioritizes your contacts by key battleground states, making it easy to reach out and make an impact quickly," according to the software.

On my phone, the application ranked contacts in Colorado, Michigan, and New Mexico at the top; at the bottom was a friend whose cell phone has a Texas number, though she actually lives in California.

The Obama '08 iPhone application also automatically calculates Call Stats, tracking not only the status of your personal outreach to each of your own contacts, but showing the totals and leaders nationwide. Importantly, users' privacy and anonymity is protected. Only the total number of calls made is uploaded; no personal data or contacts are uploaded to or stored by the Obama campaign.

The new iPhone application provides another stark contrast between the online approaches of the Obama and McCain campaigns. While Team Obama has offered another innovative new tool to empower bottoms-up organizing, the McCain campaign instead pioneered with gimmickry - and bribery. As the Washington Post mockingly reported in August, the McCain campaign offers its devotees points and prizes for "Astro Turfing," that is, cutting and pasting McCain propaganda into blogs and web sites:

"Spread John McCain's official talking points around the Web -- and you could win valuable prizes!"

While the McCain campaign's sole online achievement has been to drive views of its endless stream of attack ads, the Obama camp has one-upped its rival once again in putting cutting-edge technology to use at the grassroots. As Politico's Ben Smith recently concluded:

"Obama's then goes on to do what McCain's doesn't, which is to provide his supporters this whole infrastructure to organize themselves to do things that are going to help get Obama elected, and McCain's just doesn't do that."

For information and download instructions for the Obama '08 iPhone app, visit here: My.Barackobama.Com

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: The Obama campaign's online presence has literally run circles around all of his opponents this election season and has been instrumental in spreading his message and signing up new voters. Now, all of that is well and good, but this tremendous amount of pre-fight excitement needs to translate into actual votes come November 4th. Remember, this aint fashion ... this is real life. Make it do what it do baby!

Ne-Yo Ft. Jamie Foxx x Fabolous - She Got Her Own (Ms. Independent Remix)

Shout out to my brother-from-another-mother Cliff! He's been using this song as his "meet-a-new-girl-and-convince-her-of-the-importance-and-merit-of-being-independent" audio instructional tool ... lol. Along with the typical eye candy decorating this video, there are a gang of cameos as well from Teyanna Taylor, Jill Marie Jones, Keyshia Cole, Estelle and last, but not least, Eve and her scary weave ... lol. Oh yeah, everybody involved went in on this remix, but Fabolous, that nigga bodied his verse something terrible. Good shit.

The Last Woman Standing.

After 12 weeks and more backstabbing than a scratched Ojay's record, everybody's favorite physically fit P.Y.T. - Nikki "Hoopz" Alexander - beat Whiteboy in the I Love Money finale and walked away with the only remaining non-void check worth $250,000!

Shit was a funny episode - Whiteboy won "pay master" and proceeded to void Real's sucker-for-reality-T.V.-love check immediately.  Following that elimination, once Meagan learned that she would have to face a hostile jury of 6 former cast mates that she had ALL done super dirty, shorty just flat out quit the game; leaving Whiteboy and Hoopz to go head-to-head for that bread.  Sooooooooooooooooo, not only is Hoopz b-a-d, she now also has a quarter mill on deck.  Rsonist, you'd better put in some work and track that number down ASAP my nigga ... lol.

Move it along folks! Move it along folks! Nothing to see here except Kanye West semi-spazzing out on another member of the paparazzi. XXXtra! XXXtra! Read All About It! Sarah Palin Porn Movie Update!

"Exclusive First Look: The Sarah Palin Porn Flick

So the company that placed an ad on Craigslist seeking a Sarah Palin lookalike for a porn shoot? Hustler! A spokesperson for founder Larry Flynt confirms that the film has already been shot, but wouldn't release the name."

Read The Full Story Here: Radaronline.Com

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: This story has certainly developed considerably within the last 72 hours. When I 1st posted the Craigslist ad in a previous entry, I just assumed that it was a funny, yet virtually insignificant, advertisement for some rinky-dink porn company looking to shoot a low budget spoof about Sarah Palin on some "quick-get-the-money" shit. Boy, was I wrong!

I've just found out that not only is Larry Flynt and his Hustler organization producing this skinematic epic(tentatively titled "Riding Pipeline" OR "Nailin' Palin" depending on which source you quote), but, in addition, it has been confirmed that they have cast 1 of my all time favorite MILFs, Lisa Ann, in the lead role. No, apparently the party does not stop ... lol.

Lisa Ann's Wikipedia Entry (Recently Updated): Wikipedia.Org

BONUS:
While preparing this post, I happened across this candid interview with Lisa Ann. Nobody really wants to listen to a porn chick wax poetic about the XXX industry, but, this clip is special because she is wearing glasses in it. It's like she's already in character ... clearly, this was a role that she was born to play! Now, can Y.O.U. see her as Sarah Palin? I can.

The Victimization Of Young Berg Pt.2: By Maino.

In his never ending quest to become the most herbed-out rapper in the world, rapper/autotune singer Young Berg was publicly "disciplined" by the Brooklyn homie Maino @ a popular Atlanta club 2 nights ago. Y.O.U. would think that the recent robbery that he suffered @ the hands of Detroit's finest rapper-beater-upper, Trick Trick, would have been enough to scare this misguided child straight, but, evidently it was not. Why this nigga constantly feels the need to run his mouth and gamble with his life like this makes no sense to me homie. As far as I can tell, Young Berg appears to be a habitual line stepper with delusions of gangster ... lol. Hey, there's more than enough G-Checks to go around. Get Y.O.U. some.

Ganxtas don't dance ... we boogie. Good shit.

Jim Jones Continues To Guzzle His Own Kool-Aid.

"Jim Jones Explains His ‘Swagger Like Us’ Response

Everyone seems to have an opinion on “Swagger Like Us,” T.I.’s recent all-star collabo with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Kanye West. Folks like Jermaine Dupri and Diddy have even recorded their own verses over the song in an attempt to assert their own “swag” status.

Now Jim Jones is taking it one step further. Last week, we were building with the Capo in his studio for some future shit (stay tuned) when he spilled the beans about his own response to the song, a rumor that Miss Info reported on yesterday. He’s currently recording a new joint named “Jackin’ Swagger From Us,” featuring additional verses from Juelz and Lil Wayne, along with a re-recorded hook from M.I.A. and a new beat by Chink Santana. Read on to preview an exclusive snippet of the track and see what Jones had to say about the four artists on the first “Swagger”…

Complex: You and Juelz are all about that swag-splashing. How do you feel about not being included on “Swagger Like Us”?

Jim Jones: I think it was deliberate. I really do think it was deliberate; maybe in my sick twisted mind I’m a little crazy. People know who set the precedent as far as fashion in this industry and people know who damn near changed the world as far as fashion. You look at people, they went from the urban world of clothing, back when Rocawear and Sean John was cool. And then in the past 5 years I stepped in and gave them a taste of what rock and roll looks like from my side. I guess people would say from an urban side, and it seemed to catch on like wildfire, to the point that people was going to stores and asking for that Jim Jones look. Me and Juelz had Chink do our own beat, I have Weezy’s verse in my inbox right now and we kept the hook of that song because it was a sample. So we’re going to put that as a bonus track on the album, and put it to the streets. “No one on the corner got swag like you we don’t Rocawear that’s for fags like you.” [Laughs.]

Complex: Ahhh…

Jim Jones: And look at the Vibe cover. Tell me who Jay-Z looks like in there? Did you see the picture of him? With the Louis Vuitton scarf and all that. Who did that resemble? You can say it. But he did it wrong; he had a Gucci belt with a Louis Vuitton scarf. Who does that? You smell me? That’s like wearing one Nike and one Puma; how you going to get away with that? But I didn’t take the song as a shot, because I don’t feel like none [besides Weezy] of them possess any swag.

Complex: What about T.I?

Jim Jones: I don’t feel like he possesses any swag. Not like that. It’s fabricated. They’re watching other people, then they try and do it. You know people that dress like T.I.? You know people that go out and say let me get a T.I. outfit or do you know people who say “yo, you’re looking like Jim Jones?” Which one? Lemme hear it! When the bitches want to fuck you and the niggas want be like you, who got the swag? Niggas with money and fame always going to look like they doing something ’cause they got the camera in front of them. But the cool dudes always stick out no matter where they at."

Information Courtesy Of: Complex.Com

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Well, Jim Jones does have a point about influencing the youth with his fashion sense - not that his style is anything that I find acceptable. The problem is that Jim Jones himself jacked his current style directly from A) the Z.O.E. Pound in Miami and B) Dancehall Reggae's "Shotta" movement, both of which predate Jimmy's flash-in-the-pan "success" and probably started poppin' while he was still living in apartment 5H. Additionally, musically, I don't know too many rappers who quote Jay-Z more than this man AND he just signed and now employs a Jay-Z soundalike as his writer (NOTE: The term "ghostwriter" does not apply here because there is nothing clandestine about the arrangement). Y.O.U. know what they say about people in glass houses, right? Niggas got some nerve ... lol.
