The-Dream - Panties To The Side (Official "Love King" Album Trailer)

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Whereas it is immediately apparent that none of the girls in this video come from the same strain of surgically enhanced, plastic GladWare® titties and tushy visions of beauty that have become all too common in today's "fake it until Y.O.U. make it" video world, I implore Y.O.U. to please trust me and simply press play on this promo clip for The-Dream's final(?) studio album "Love King". I assure Y.O.U. that Y.O.U. will be anything but disappointed my friend. Good shit!

The Gucci x Fendi Childrenswear Collections = Stuntin' Like My Daddy x My Mommy.

"Gucci, Fendi present first children's collection in Florence

Thu Jun 24, 2:29 pm ET

FLORENCE, Italy (AFP) – Gucci and Fendi, two of Italy's largest fashion brands are launching their first full children's collections, entering a sector that has weathered the global downturn better than others.

Gucci, owned by French luxury conglomerate Pinault-Printemps-Redoute, will present its Gucci Kids line at its historical Firenze boutique as the Pitti Bimbo international childrenswear fair, running from June 24 to 26, kicked off on Thursday in the Tuscan city.

The line, aimed at children from newborn to age eight includes shoes, dresses, accessories and sunglasses created by Gucci star designer Frida Giannini.

Historical family fashion house Fendi, owned by French luxury group LVMH, had already presented an incomplete line for babies and is now fielding a collection designed by Fendi heiress Silvia Venturina Fendi at Pitti.

The collection is a partnership with Italian company Simonetta, which has already worked in the past with designer Roberto Cavalli on children lines.

As the economic downturn bit hard into luxury apparel and fashion spending throughout 2009, childrenswear was not spared, but it weathered the crisis better than others and perspectives for growth seem to be pointing up.

In a downturn, "adults are likely to give up spending on clothes for themselves before they give up buying for children," Michelle Strutton, a senior analyst at research firm Mintel told AFP."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Smart! Smart! Smart! The Gucci and Fendi Childrenswear Collections are guaranteed to win. I am honestly surprised that, particularly during this global economic meltdown, more luxury firms have not ventured into the almost always profitable childrenswear market. FACT: Parents L.O.V.E. to trick on their kids ... period.

Unveiled just days ago @ the Pitti Bimbo International Childrenswear Fair in the Tuscan city of Florence, Italy, both Gucci and Fendi have just tossed down a Diaper Genie® of a gauntlet that is sure to make members of the playboy Playtex® jet set very proud! Already celebrated the world over by *Cue Snooty Uptown Jamaican Accent* "stoosh" mothers for their monogram laced baby carriers, the Gucci children's line (NOTE: Under the masterful design direction of Frida Giannini) has now been expanded to include dresses, shoes and accessories. The Fendi firm had already presented an incomplete line, still in it's infancy (NOTE: I know, I know ... that was the Kraft® Easy Mac® of cheesy puns ... lol) that was focused on the babies, but will likely grow mature into a full range incorporating many of the designs that Fendi heiress Silvia Venturina Fendi presented @ Pitti.

While the truly affluent have remained largely insulated from the recent financial woes and can AND will most likely snatch up these top tier toddler threads as soon they debut on store shelves later this year, it is the conspicuous consumer whom might be the biggest fan of these luxury children's collections. This shit is gonna take the hood by storm! LOL! Message To The Fashion Forward Dope Boy Dad's And Fly Baby Momma's: Pre-order your child's 2011 Easter outfit TODAY! Boosters and credit card scammers, start your engines!

Kanye West Performs "Power" @ The 2010 BET Awards.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Although my indifference towards any and everything related to the BET network now borders on outright contempt - especially their laughably low budget AND equally low brow award shows - Kanye West's show opening performance of his newest single "Power" @ the 2010 BET Awards is clearly deserving of an honorable mention here @ Livestyle. I see Y.O.U. Mr. West, Mr. West: Walk like an Egyptian.

The Lafayette x DJ Clark Kent x Paulie's (Vinnie's Styles) 7th Anniversary Collabo T-Shirt For Lafayette = 3 The Fly Way.

"Lafayette recently celebrated their 7th anniversary and as usual, they have gotten together with many of the brands they stock. More details on the other collaborations will be revealed later but the first to drop are the t-shirts made in conjunction with DJ Clark Kent and Paulie's, an inhouse brand from Vinnys Styles. A simple typographic graphic is the result and the colorway draws inspiration from the previously released DJ Clark Kent sneakers. There is a black body and white body prepared each with Lafayette logo in neon green font and gray shadow screen printed on the front. Back neck features the Paulie's logo and left sleeve is printed with DJ Clark Kent logo in the same neon green and gray colorways. One more note for those who are feeling these designs is that a cap version of these looks to drop as well soon. Stay tuned for more information."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: As my girlfriend has recently been feeding me a steady diet of HBO On Demand preserved episodes from season 2 of the hit series "True Blood", forgive me if that show's fantabulously gay character, "Lafayette" ("Yass bitches!"), instantly came to mind upon 1st seeing this shirt. I mean, I thought this was some kind of fan paraphernalia gone mainstream. Thankfully, it is not. For I would have been loath to support HBO's continued dedication to the emasculation of the Black man.

Anyway, indeed, the good news here is that this offering is actually the result of preeminent Japanese streetwear label and preferred "Land Of The Rising Sun" Hipster haberdashers, Lafayette, hopping a trans-continental flight and hooking up with Brooklyn's very own DJ Clark Kent and Paulie's (NOTE: Vinnie's Styles in-house brand) to celebrate their 7th anniversary with these special limited edition t-shirts.

Inspired by the simple yet striking colorway of an earlier sneaker collabo between Lafayette and DJ Clark Kent (NOTE: And also a perfect match for a good O.G. pair of Nike Air Max 95's) this commemorative t-shirt is available in either black or white and is emblazoned with a stylized "Lafayette" signature logo in neon green and gray shadow screen print on the front. Of course the standard Brooklyn bum rush is in full effect as well as the back neck and left sleeve prominently feature both the Paulie's and DJ Clark Kent logos respectively. Simply dope. Chop it up Hibachi style and get Y.O.U. 1 homie. Good shit!
