NBA 2K9 x NBA Live 09 Side-By-Side Gameplay Comparison.

Holy shit! NBA 2K9 is too real, possibly even realer than Plies ... lol. Now, I would L.O.V.E. to say that NBA Live looked better (I mean, the game is named after ME), but, in all fairness and objectivity, 2K easily takes the top spot once again! It's not even a contest. I mean, look @ the fluid movement of the players my nigga ... NBA Live looks choppy as H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks ... lol. Message To Mandalay Jay x Niketown: Be patient brothers. The time of reckoning for poor 2K players draws near. LOL. Holla @ ya boy in BK!

Commes des Garcons x H&M Collabo Store Locator.

In the event that you've been living under a rock, the highly anticipated Commes des Garcons collection for H&M will finally hit stores this November! Apparently this range isn't only limited in quantity, it's also only being sold in a very limited number H&M stores across the country.

Commes des Garcons (translated from French, meaning "like a boy") has been around since the 1960's, but has recently become über popular thanks to owner Rei Kawakubo and her innovative and uncompromising design philosophy.  Commes des Garcons is lauded for their cool collaborations with other high end brands such as, but not limited to, Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Chrome Hearts and Lacoste.  Shiiiiiiiiiit, even their sub-labels like Junya Watanabe and Tao Kurihara are poppin'.  I can't front, some of what I've seen thus far is a little weird and it's damn near all black, but I know that I can put something together quite clever ... lol.  Anyway, this 1 time collection @ H&M is a "His and Hers" thing, so Y.O.U. can ALL get some! Below is a list of stores that will carry the collection.

Robert Kiyosaki - The Wall Street Wipeout x Y.O.U.

"As Capitalism Crumbles, U.S. Taxpayers Pick Up the Pieces
by Robert Kiyosaki
Posted on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, 12:00AM

As we all know, the world changed drastically on Sept. 11, 2001, when the twin towers of the World Trade Center fell.

This year, on the eve of Sept. 11, the twin towers of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac crumbled. Then, on Sept. 15, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch disappeared. Actually, that was a triple-tower collapse if you count AIG.

In a few years, the biggest pair of towers will collapse: Social Security and Medicare. Even today, they're looking shaky. How many ground zeros can we as people, a nation, and a world withstand before we admit something is very wrong with our global financial systems? What will it take to wake us up?

Government Can't Fix It

Personally, I believe the biggest it's a problem that (NOTE: I have no idea what content is missing from this sentence, but Yahoo needs to hire a real editor - like ME ... lol) so many Americans are looking to this year's presidential candidates, Barack Obama and John McCain, to save our financial system. How did we become so financially weak that we surrender our economic independence to politicians? Where does it say in the Constitution that the government should solve our financial problems?

And why have so many people throughout the world come to expect financial life-support from their political leaders? It seems most people will vote for anyone who promises a chicken in every pot and a guaranteed mortgage payment.

We're in the midst of a problem neither candidate can solve: A lack of comprehensive financial education in our school systems. What else explains the economic blunders committed by our political and financial leaders? Or why so many consumers are in debt up to their eyeballs? Or why millions of people expect a quick government fix of some kind?

Under Water

A few months ago, a friend of mine from Hawaii asked me if I wanted to buy his new powerboat with twin motors. Apparently, in late 2007, he purchased it brand new for approximately $85,000. His plan was to refinance his house when it appreciated in value and use the difference to pay for the boat.

Failing to obtain new financing, he called to ask me if I would buy the boat from him -- just take over the payments and it was mine. I passed, and the bank eventually repossessed his boat. Later, his wife called to tell me he's now having problems making his mortgage payments. Apparently, my friend planned to pay for his house the same way he planned on paying for the boat, by refinancing his debt.

I mention this story because it illustrates the problem Obama or McCain face: Limited financial education and diminished financial common sense. Apparently, my and the nation's business leaders all went to same school of finance.

A Cynical Aside

If you want to know why the towers of American capitalism are crumbling, I recommend reading "The Creature from Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin. It's not an easy book to find, but once you start reading it's [hard] to put down. In fact, in many ways it's a murder mystery about the financial "murder" of the middle class.

A very important lesson in the book is how political leaders use financial spin to deceive the public. The very, very rich use the system to legally steal from the rest of us by appealing to our sense of patriotism. When our leaders say, "We're bailing out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac because we want to protect the American people," they really mean "We're saving our rich friends."

All the bankers and politicians have to do is wave the red, white, and blue, play a few bars of "Yankee Doodle," and the masses get teary-eyed and pledge greater allegiance to legalized robbery. Yes, it's true that ignorance is bliss -- but ignorance is also expensive, and it cost us our freedom.

Freedom at Peril

A bailout can be different things. First, printing more money is a kind of bailout that leads to higher inflation. Rather than protecting people, it makes life for the poor and middle class more expensive. The other kind of bailout is protection for our rich and incompetent friends. If you or I fail at business, we fail. If we cheat and fail, we go to jail. But if you're rich and politically connected, your incompetence may be protected by a government bailout.

As a former Marine and a Vietnam War veteran, it saddens me to see some of the freedoms I thought I went to war to protect being stolen from us by bankers and politicians. Unfortunately, few Americans know the difference between the words "nationalize" and "socialize." Socialize means we turn more of our personal powers over to Big Brother, not free enterprise. It means we as a people grow weaker and need a higher power -- the same power that got us into this mess -- to protect us.

In short, when the towers of Fannie, Freddie, Merrill, Lehman, and AIG came crashing down, more came down than just money. What we're losing is the very freedom this country was founded on, and what most of the world yearns for."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Whether you regard Robert Kiyosaki as a true investment genius or as simply a shrewd marketer and motivational speaker, I have found his work to be incredibly informative and valuable.  I posted his most popular book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" in audio form a few weeks back ... get it here if you need it.

Anyway, this particular article is a great read jammed packed with cogent opinion and a good basic breakdown of the current financial crisis that the country now finds itself in the throes of and what it means to the average American. We are ALL familiar with the phrase "money makes the world go 'round", but very few of us (myself included) really understand how macroeconomics (The country's financial standing - ie: GDP, etc.) affects our microeconomics (Our wallets). It's not enough to only know how to get money, Y.O.U. have to know how to keep it too. Step ya game up homie.

Nintendo Wii Japanese Fall Conference Preview Reel 2008.

This is merely a sample of the awesomeness that Nintendo intends to unleash on the globe for the 2008 holiday season and throughout 2009 for their popular Wii system. Some of the games shown early in this clip are basuda party type games or some shit for kids, however, once you get to the middle of this reel they bust out with the heavy titles like Punch-Out, Street Fighter and Capcom Vs. Tatsunoko. There are waaaaaaay more games featured in this clip, but A) I don't play video games all that much, therefore the more obscure games are unintelligible to me and B) I do not speak Japanese, gomen ne.

In Related News: Dude, have Y.O.U. ever played Wii bowling while drunk ... @ a bar? If Y.O.U. haven't played that OR Big Buck Hunter (which is NOT a Wii game, but you already know that, right?) @ your favorite watering hole, then, Y.O.U. are seriously missing out homie. Your fun levels are depleted and you might need assistance ... lol.

LOL @ Joey's Face AND The Look On Homie's Face Eye Hustlin' The Whole Situation Right Next To Them.

Honestly, I wasn't even going to post these videos yall. Yes, I had seen them ALL over the internet yesterday and, while shorty is clearly in possession of a serious body and a pretty face, I just felt like she was getting a little too much shine ... lol. I mean, I try to keep it kind of exclusive around here. With that said though, I can no longer deny my loyal readers the opportunity to check out Joe Budden's Dominicana mama for themselves.  The demand is simply too high.  Plus, while researching this post, I came across some pictures to accompany the video clips that may better ASSist Y.O.U. in ASSessing this matter.

On the real, not that I really give a fuck, but I do wonder how Joe "Salutations" Budden feels about all of this. Like, shorty is getting waaaaaaaaaay more attention than his stalled career right now. Y.O.U. know how funny niggas on message boards can be, right? Of course Y.O.U. do. Ok, so how'd a nigga say that Joe Budden's girl's ass is bigger than his career ever was? LOL. That is coldblooded! I fuxs with son though ... he's an MC's MC and he keeps it funky with his lady. Anyway, as far as everybody being all thirsty for his wifey, I guess that he just appreciates all of the Youtube hits he's getting now thanks to her ... lol.  It is what it is.

I Place My Bid On The Lamborghini Estoque 4-Door Hybrid, Kid!

"Lamborghini's 'New World' May Be a Hybrid
By Chuck Squatriglia October 01, 2008 | 5:48:09 PM Categories: Exotics, Hybrids, Paris Auto Show

After taunting us for weeks with teaser pics of the four-seater it's bringing to the Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini has pulled the wraps of the Estoque and suggested it could be -- get this -- a hybrid.

That's right, a hybrid. The company that last spring said it couldn't possibly meet Europe's tightening emissions rules may jump on the gas-electric bandwagon with a car it's been saying "is not just a new Lamborghini. It's a whole new world." Sant'Agata insists the car is just a concept at this point -- though everything it says suggests the car will be built -- but makes it clear it takes the company in a new direction.

"It is a concept that provides a clear indication of the future," the company says. "This applies to the new, elegant self-confidence of the lines themselves, but even more to the concept of the vehicle."

Lamborghini calls the Estoque an "everyday sports car," albeit one that will probably carry a $200,000 price tag, that combines the performance of the Gallardo with the convenience and comfort of a sedan. "With our existing cars, there is day-to-day usability, but they are not used every day," company president Stephan Winkelmann told AutoWeek. "Most of them are used for less than 5,000 kilometers a year. This car is something different. It's for every day use."

The Estoque -- the name refers to the sword matadors use to kill bulls -- is the first four-door to roll out of Sant'Agata since the company built the abominable Portofino for the Frankfurt auto show in 1987. Whereas the Porotfino looked like a Chrysler with scissor doors, the Estoque looks like a Murcielago or Reventon with four doors. It's all sharp angles and long lines, coming in at almost 17 feet long. Those 23-inch wheels are nearly 10 feet apart. Unlike the Gallardo and Murcielago, the all-wheel-drive Estoque carries its engine just behind the front axle. Lamborghini claims the car's weight distribution approaches 50-50, providing "unparalleled agility and handling precision."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: In spite of a dire economic forecast and a $700 Billion "Bailout" + "sweeteners" added to the proposal, there will always be a niche to cater to the insatiable desires of the über rich. There's somebody sleeping in 1 of these $30 G a night suites right now son. Question: At what point, financially, do you reach "critical mass"? You know, like, how much do Y.O.U. need to be set for life? How nice of a slice from the "Layer Cake" do you need on your plate in order to never be troubled by mundane money problems ever again? $20 Million? $100 Million? I want input people!

Well, all I know is that I'm trying to reach that point and bring a few inspirational people along with me. Lil Wayne x ESPN Present: The Blogication Pt. 2

NOTE: The following are brief excerpts on each topic discussed from Lil Wayne's most recent ESPN blog. A link to the blog in it's entirety is listed below.

"LIL WAYNE BLOGS FOR US:
WORLD SERIES?
"I SEE THE TAMPA BAY RAYS."

by Lil Wayne

First of all, wow. I am overwhelmed by the response to my first blog entry. I think I read the first 402 comments. A lot of them were crazy. A thousand comments in the first day? That makes me happy. I've been telling people, "Man I got a blog on ESPN," and they go, "Yeah, boy, but you're latest song is crazy!" and I'm like, "I know, but did you see my blog?" I am so excited to have this opportunity. You don't understand. I got ESPN tattooed on my arm. I've had it for at least three months now, so that should show you how seriously I'm gonna take this. I know some people out there don't think it's really me, but you have to prove a lot of things when you're an entertainer, so I'm used to it.

I got a lot of phone calls about the blog from people I know, too. Everybody I talked to liked it, and even people I didn't expect are looking at it. For example, I did a GQ interview the day after it came out, and the reporter was like, "By the way, I love the blog." And I thought, "Wow, ok. People are seeing this."

My brother Ocho Cinco gave me a personal message to put in the blog, and that's that "he wants to win," end quote. My man Chris Paul called mad 'cause I didn't say nothing about him. He was kinda upset."

"LIL WAYNE ON THE NFL

First off, my heart goes out to Richard Collier on the Jaguars and the kicker from Tampa Bay, Matt Bryant, who lost his baby. He went out and played, too, on Sunday. That, to me, is the definition of amazing.

Now on to Brett Favre. He must know God's phone number, 'cause he is superhuman. Like, Brett Farve? Come on. He's like 3900 years old and he threw for six touchdowns? He's never even done that in his whole career. And he does it with the Jets when no one is expecting nothing from him. There's a reason why he's my favorite player of all-time. He's getting better with time, as scary as that sounds. It's a great thing to watch. He still takes those shots. He still takes those risks. And those receivers were amazing, and the line, man, the offensive line was unexplainable.

As a Packers fan, it actually doesn't bother me to see Favre go off like that, 'cause it's an AFC team that he plays for. It's kind of like a double positive for me. I'm glad when the Packers do well, and I'm extra glad when Brett Favre does well. The only way the Packers and Jets will meet is if it's the Super Bowl, and that would just be a wonderful dream come true. If that happened, I wouldn't be rooting for anybody. I'd just sit back and enjoy a great football game. But that's too far down the line, and I'm not tryin' to jinx it.

I liked the majority of what I saw in the Packers game Sunday. I know this kid Aaron Rodgers is a fighter, and I really hope he comes back for the next game, because it really wouldn't look good to go out after four games after backing up someone who's never missed a game."

"LIL WAYNE ON MLB

The Red Sox start the playoffs this week, and my thoughts are up in the air about them because, honestly, their chances are up in the air. I'm so grateful they made the post-season, but I'm kind of not sure about them. You know how you can envision a team in the World Series? I don't see them. I close my eyes and I see the Tampa Bay Rays. I'm a big emotion guy. I'm a heart guy, and I think they all play that way. They have nothing to compare this to. Whether they make it to the World Series or not, we're watching the first winning baseball team Tampa Bay has ever fielded. That right there is always amazing, no matter who the team is. I am actually trying to go down there to catch two games at the end of the week if I can. Maybe sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" or throw out the first pitch. You never know. You know they need somebody to throw the first pitch. That would be my first major league game. My dream is still to catch one at Fenway, of course."

"LIL WAYNE ON COLLEGE SPORTS

Some people were also asking if I like college sports, and the answer is yes, I do. For college football, my favorite team is LSU, of course. On the low, I'm a little bit of a Tulane fan as well. My assistant, she's a Tulane graduate. We almost had East Carolina this year but I ain't gonna say nothing about that."

"WHAT'S NEXT FOR LIL WAYNE?

I've been busy in the studio, and right now I'm working on a mix tape, along with Tha Carter IV. The mixed tape you can expect real soon. It's called Dedication 3, and it's going to be Gangsta Grillz by DJ Drama. And then right after that, I'm putting that same mix tape out with twenty extra songs for free on my website.

Lil Wayne is a commercially successful rapper and major sports fan."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS:  I must admit, here and now, that this recent juxtaposition of Lil Wayne as superstar rapper/ESPN contributor has me a little conflicted.  Why?  Because, as proud as I am of Weezy for stepping outside of the typical rapper role and actually delivering some quality insight from the perspective of a clearly passionate sports fan with this blog, I now find myself even more frustrated with the gibberish that he all too often tries to pass off as song lyrics.

He is obviously not a complete idiot. Weezy F. Baby's blog, new though it may be, has proven him to be an individual whose thoughts go much deeper than just p-u-s-s-y and whose name aint Bic, but who keeps that pen ... lol.  I mean, this blog is well written and coherent, which is more than I can say for most of this nigga's rhymes these days.  If he gives up the syrup, he might be able to leverage his stardom into a future as a sportscaster and we've never seen a rapper do that before yo.  I fuxs with Lil Wayne. Good shit.

Jay-Z To Help Barack Obama Dust His Shoulders Off This Weekend.

"Jay-Z To Support Barack Obama With Free Concerts
October 1st, 2008 11:02am EDT

Hip-hop star Jay-Z is lending his support to U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama by holding two free concerts in his honor.

The rapper - real name Shawn Carter - hopes to encourage young people to vote for the Democrat at the upcoming November elections.

The free shows will take place in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday (October 4th, 2008) and in Miami, Florida on Sunday (October 5th, 2008).

Tickets will be distributed through Obama's local campaign offices, according to Allhiphop.com."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS:  We all have to get out and Barack The Vote on November 4th.  Certainly, seeing a free Jay-Z concert is great - fun for everyone involved - but, even he realizes that he is NOT the star of these events. QUESTION: Is this a mini "Heart Of The Oval Office" tour? LOL.

Anyway, Y.O.U. don't think that Jay-Z would rather be @ home in Alpine, New Jersey, spooning with Beyonce and eating croissants? C'mon Detroit and Miami people, don't waste Jay-Z's time and, more importantly, do not waste your right to vote! Wall Street has their "Bailout" coming and, hopefully, in a non-monetary form, we will have ours. Shout out to Mr. 401 K for the heads up this story.

DJ Clark Kent Interview @ NHTVSN.

There's nothing scary to the idea of Spice Girl member Mel B posing nude for an adult magazine.

Last month the singer turned television personality (born Melanie Janine Brown), revealed to various media outlets that she had turned down two offers to appear in 'Playboy' magazine over the past year, despite leaving the opportunity open for a later date.

"I was offered Playboy last year and again a couple of months ago, and I did turn them down, but that's not to say I wouldn't consider it in the future," she said. "I have no problems walking around the house naked or anything."

Well it appears Hugh Hefner has stepped his game up for the voluptuous star.

According to London's 'Mirror' newspaper, last week the two parties came to an agreement for 6 figures that will lead Brown to appear nude in a forthcoming issue."

What Did The Penis Say To The Girl's Face?

"Teen charged with lewd act

By Megan Coleman
Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11:06 a.m.

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS:  Mercedes has quietly built their SLR series into 1 of the most sought after and popular toys amongst top car enthusiasts today.  This 722 edition should be no different - it features all of the splendid dimensions and power (a supercharged 5.5-litre V8 engine which is hand-built in the Mercedes-AMG engine shop in Affalterbach that produces an output of 478 kW/650 hp, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 335 km/h) that collectors have come to expect from Mercedes and Mclaren collaborations.  They're only dropping 150 of these bad boys (I know, I talk about this v like it's just a limited sneaker release, right? LOL.), so we'll see who's 1st to put 1 of these cars on the road.  On the real, I wouldn't be surprised to see Swizz Beatz or the homie Pharrell bust out with the 722 SLR early or, at least, mention it in 1 of their next songs ... lol.

"Barack Obama Gives A Shout-Out To Hip-Hop
Senator says artists are 'thinking about social responsibility and how they can impact the culture in a positive way.'

By Sway Calloway and Robert Mancini

Yes, hip-hop loves Barack Obama. From Weezy to Jeezy, Jay to 'Ye, some of rap's biggest names have saluted him in their lyrics, and he's inspired mixtapes, bootleg T-shirts and onstage shout-outs.

But what does the senator think of hip-hop? Sure, he went all Jay and brushed dirt off his shoulder at an April campaign stop and referenced Lil Wayne during a speech in July. But he was also quick to admonish Ludacris for a particularly fiery freestyle aimed at George W. Bush and then-rival Hillary Clinton. And while stars like Oprah Winfrey, Usher and John Legend have turned up next to Obama at campaign stops, the hip-hop nation has been virtually absent from the senator's stage.

So how does Obama feel about the genre that has rallied around him?

"I enjoy it, but these days I don't have the time to listen to it all the time," he told MTV News. He said that he still finds time to shuffle through MCs like Jay-Z and Kanye on his iPod, but he thinks the genre's impact extends far beyond a few hot tracks.

"I'm a little older than hip-hop culture," he said. "I was there at the beginning, but I was already getting older. ... What I've appreciated, watching this hip-hop generation, is to see how entrepreneurial they've been. In the past, musicians oftentimes were commodities. They were just shuffled around. Obviously, they did well, but they didn't have the vision to say, 'I'm going to build a business. I'm going to build my own studio. I'm going to create my own production operations.' I think they're a lot more sophisticated than in the past, and that is a wonderful thing."

He went on to tell MTV News that he's still seeing growth in the genre and that he's optimistic about what's ahead for hip-hop.

"What I'm starting to see is them stretching out more and thinking about social responsibility and how they can impact the culture in a positive way," he said. "And I hope that continues."

And where does he weigh in on hip-hop's hottest issue -- the greatest of all time?

"Oh no, I'm not going to get caught up in all that," he laughed."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Fuck Bill Clinton and his less-than-supportive, transparent and halfhearted endorsements (if you can even call them that) of Barack Obama. While it would be incredibly gracious and simply the respectable and adult thing to do, we don't have time to wait for the Clintons and their sore loser supporters to coalesce with the Democratic party and exhibit even an iota of honest enthusiasm for the presidential nominee. November 4th is on our ass yall! Read the interview and respect a presidential candidate who respects us and our vote! Cue Young Jeezy voice: "My president is Black ..."
