The APPLEBUM x New Era "Sunshine" Cap = Good Morning Sunshine!

"If you love Hip Hop or R&B music then the chances are you have heard a sample of the classic track from Roy Ayers, Everybody Loves The Sunshine. APPLEBUM pays homage to the classic song by using it as an inspiration for the latest Sunshine cap made in conjunction with New Era. On the front panels are the gold embroidery that reads “Everybody Loves The Sunshine” with matching APPLEBUM logo on the back and New Era logo on the left side. Whole cap is black except the middle section that is printed by a silhouette of a mountain range created by a sunrise in gradient. Currently this cap is available at the APPLEBUM online store and APPLEBUM stockists."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Over the past 5 years, Japanese streetwear emissaries, APPLEBUM, have managed to carve out quite a nice niche for themselves in the upscale streetwear global market. Their instantly recognizable and Hip Hop sneaker head relatable K.icks B.ox A.ll S.tars and Mixtape Collection full body prints celebrated the look of many a "poly acquisitional" (NOTE: Shout out to China for that clinical term for a nigga that likes to collect a bucnh of shit ... lol!) member of fly society's homes while simultaneously communicating that level of dedicated connoisseurship of the wearer to the public. To that end, the brand new APPLEBUM and New Era "Sunshine" Cap is yet another exciting fresh fitted nod to the ways of classic Hip Hop.

While many of Y.O.U. may be unfamiliar with the name Roy Ayers, I little doubt that Y.O.U. are more than casually acquainted with this Fusion-Jazz/R&B pioneers sonic works of art which have been sampled by various dusty fingered Hip Hop producers for over 2 decades now. His discography is the definition of "Ubiquity". I mean, except for Vampires, "Everybody Loves The Sunshine". Likewise, EVERYBODY loves the Roy Ayers tune that inspired this fitted.

In any event, this beautiful morning dawn sun drenched show piece for your dome piece is most definitely good money my nig. Aint nothing too "look-@-me-I-just-got-a-Karmaloop-discount-code-and-don't-know-how-to-act-with-mommy-and-daddy's-money" flashy about this item. Y.O.U. already know what it is. Keep your head up!

Whether Y.O.U. realize it or not, your very viewing of this online destination acts, in effect, as an electronic signature that indicates your full acceptance of the legally binding Livestyle user agreement. In exchange for my unique culturally liberating perspective and anti-trend high fashion editorials, Y.O.U. are entitled to much more than just hastily copied-and-pasted viral videos and images poached from other blogs. No, Y.O.U. clearly deserve much better and better Y.O.U. shall receive! I take immense pride in the advancement of knowledge - of all forms - and relish the opportunity to contribute to this ongoing conversation with specific regard to your individual refinement. This entry offers 1 such occasion.

Roy Ayers has a superior catalogue of music that spans longer than a line @ the D.epartment of M.otor V.ehicles. His genre bending creations have served as a lush garden from which Hip Hop beatsmiths have continually managed to harvest some of the best and most memorable samples the world has ever known.

"Everybody Loves The Sunshine" is 1 of Roy Ayers's most popular hits, however, this "low hanging fruit" of a record, while not obscure, is no less valuable to sample lovers like myself. This gem from 1976 is just 1 of those grooves that every O.G. Hip Hop enthusiast MUST have in their collection. This is 100% Kush blunt music on the beach ... in the Summer ... and I don't even smoke ... lol.

Anyway, although I have neither the time nor the patience to list every artist that has sampled this particular joint from Roy Ayers, for your listening pleasure, I have benevolently included the original record along with 1 of the most famous Hip Hop songs to have successfully sampled it. Come on ... how much do Y.O.U. L.O.V.E. me? LOL. You're welcome. You're ALL welcome!
