"Lo Wears And Tommy Hill Fly Shit With A Knot"

"Julio Iglesias ... gettin' C.R.E.A.M. like that nigga!" Now, this is that fly shit. Word up, Stretch Armstrong and Kool Bob Love had me fucked up the 1st time that they played this ... I couldn't sleep all night ... lol.  I wonder if Hip Hop can ever make me feel like that again.  This video was quite rare too.  Don't ask me why, but it never did get much play.

Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx album was my official I-95 music during the mid 90's ... it epitomized and spoke to everything that me and my cohorts thought that we wanted. You might know the story: new face in a new place trying not to catch a new case in a Commonwealth state. Don't let the smooth taste fool ya homie.

Dr. Romanelli x NSW Track Jacket Deluxe.

"Recently spotted at Mexico City’s Nike Sportswear 1902 (so named for the year the neighborhood Colonia Condesa was form) is the newest variation of Nike track jacket, through the radical interpretation of Dr. Romanelli. Essentially took apart before carefully re-sewn together with the additions of premium perforated leather. The Nike Sportswear x Dr. Romanelli creations, like so many of his other ones, are one of the kind. To see them upclose or to purchase, visit the newly opened Nike Sportswear 1902 at Mexico City. CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: I bet that this stylish amalgamation of premium leather and "swooshy" material costs a gang of Pesos. It might just be worth it though. Hey, 1 of my cool Latino readers should translate the website's item description for me. Muchos gracias in advance!

Helloooooo Ladies: Balenciaga "Cherche" Top Handle Tote Bag.

With anything that I do I L.O.V.E. contrast; so the union of simple canvas and pebble calfskin trim on this new Balenciaga bag is good money in my book. Also, Balenciaga's über popular "motorcycle" bag has suffered an untimely death - the coroner's report classified it as a "Knock Off/Bootleg Overdose" ... lol. Anyway, this "Cherche" bag is available in 2 colors (natural and black) and also features a detachable mirror not unlike a certain Kamilah's Zac Posen handbag. See, it pays to be early. Holla @ ya boy in BK!

Wake Up! It's 9 O'Glock In The Morning!

"Looking to put a little excitement into your morning routine? Rather than simply slapping your alarm clock to turn it off, do you want to up the stakes a little bit? Say hello to this crazy new alarm clock from Bandai in Japan.

The "Gun O'Clock" comes with an infrared gun. When the alarm goes off, a target will pop up from the top. In order to turn the shrill, beeping alarm off (which is coupled with a voice saying "Come on!"), you need to hit the bullseye. It's the perfect excuse to start sleeping with a gun under your pillow that has no chance of accidentally killing you in your sleep. It'll be available in Japan starting at the end of October for $34."

CHRIS LIVE AKA SHAKER SAYS: Good morning fellow gun owners! It's target practice time! LOL. What'll these screwy Japanese people think of next?

"Early To Rise ... We've Gotta Get Paid"

Only upon posting this video have I now, as an adult, fully realized the homo-erotic nature of the conversation held between Greg Nice and Smooth B @ the beginning of this otherwise classic video. Nice & Smooth are NOT gay, but their convo is ... lol. Anyway, if your knowledge of this group is limited to "Dwyck" and "Hip Hop Junkies", even though those are tremendous songs, you are severely missing the point my friend.

Nice & Smooth put in heavy work in the 90's and might have even introduced the term "whip" (in reference to cars) into the Hip Hop vernacular. What yall know about their song "No Delayin'"? What you know about The Awesome 2: DJ's Teddy Ted & Special K and their radio show which was followed by Halfpint & Hank Love? Dammit man ... I'ma have to post more music from these brothers in the future.

Colette x GAP Opens This Saturday!

It's been a loooooong time since I "fell" into the GAP, but their up coming store installation collaboration with my favorite Parisian providers of fly threads, Colette, will definitely have me making a power move to Midtown Manhattan this weekend. The Colette x GAP collabo @ the GAP flagship store in NYC (Located on 54th Street and 5th Avenue) opens this Saturday, September 6 and will run through October 5th. Oh yeah, this exclusive promotion will also be running simultaneously @ the newly reopened Colette store in Paris as well.

The Colette x Gap concept boutique will offer an array of limited edition mash up items such as GAP Customized and GAP Grey Jersey collection pieces, Paris x NYC Tees and Colette x GAP Souvenirs. The Paris x NYC Tees are “a special collection of Gap T-shirts, a group of Paris-based artists have come up with design concepts that a group of New York artists completed”. Shiiiiiiiit, they've even got a special (wool maybe?) Moncler goose available too. I have no clue as to what the general price point will be with these items, but, it's the GAP meets Colette ... so, it could go from low to high. Anyway, while everybody else is shopping for the same shit everywhere else, you should breeze through this spot and snatch up something nice homie. Don't make me tell you twice!

Domo Arigato Ms. Sex Doll?

Thisislivestyle Exclusive: File Photo Of Alleged Corpse.

Thisislivestyle Exclusive: File Photo Of Japanese Police Suspect Lineup.

"Japanese murder investigators fooled by blow-up sex doll
Justin McCurry in Tokyo
guardian.co.uk, Tuesday September 02 2008 17:12 BST
Article history

Police in Japan have been left red-faced by an apparent murder that turned out to be an unusual case of mistaken identity.

It began in the morning with a frantic call from a couple who had spotted a "corpse" while out walking their dog in a mountain forest in Izu, central Japan, the ZakZak news website reported today.

Fifteen officers were dispatched to the scene, where they discovered a human form wrapped in plastic and tightly bound around the neck, midriff and ankles, with hair protruding from one end.

The body was left untouched and taken away for examination, and the crime scene duly secured by a police cordon.

Back at the local police headquarters, officials notified reporters who had turned up early the same morning to cover an annual earthquake drill. They began preparing to write up the launch of a major murder investigation.

Dozens of extra officers were dispatched to interview potential witnesses, while the evening edition of the local newspaper carried a report of the gruesome find, complete with a photograph of the body's resting place.

By mid-afternoon, the body was in the hands of police pathologists. But when they sliced open the wrapping, they were confronted not by a decomposing corpse, but by a life-sized sex doll."

NEW MUSIC: Rsonist - Will You Miss Me (Produced By The Heatmakerz)(Dirty)(NO DJ)

Eventhough I share a friendship, indeed a brotherhood, that goes much deeper than music with The Heatmakerz, if my man Rsonist was a crap-ass-rapper, I'd have to call a spade a spade my nigga. With that said, Rsonist has come a long way as an MC. I've seen the homie gradually begin to raise his bars to match his multiplatinum production chops and this song is yet another step in the right direction.

Now, if you like what you hear, feel free to thank me for being such a powerful artistic influence on Rsonist. However, if you DON'T like this joint ... I had nothing to do with it! LOL. On the real though, good music is good music.  Check out my boy from The BX.  You already know.

Ice-t x Coco = Body Count Burlesque Band?

Peep the guitar player's eyes all on his boss's girl ... lol.

I've had these pictures for over a week and I wasn't sure if I was going to post them or not, but I aint really seen them all over the blogosphere like that, so fuck it. These pics were taken @ a recent Body Count performance in New York City (Who knew that they even still performed?) where, in true gentleman of leisure style, Ice-T brought his girl Coco on stage and simulated a good ole "grudge fuck" for a rabid audience. If you were there, lucky you. The moral of the story: I might want to attend the next Body Count show in NYC ... lol.

NEW MUSIC: Young Jeezy - Done It (Produced By J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League)(iTunes Bonus)

Young Jeezy's new album "The Recession" in stores TODAY! 1 of the realest niggas in the rap game by far just dropped a serious album ... salute that man and support the album. More to the point of this particular post though, it's always nice when an artist's bonus song can compete with the best song on the retail ... it's further confirmation that the homie has more quality music in the cut and that they aint totally tapped out yet ... lol. Holla @ ya boy in BK!

"I'm Not A Puerto Rican, But I'm Speaking So That You Know"

Well, I am half Puerto Rican, but the quote was in direct reference to this classic song. Seriously, I remember when they filmed this video in Prospect Park, in front of The Brooklyn Public Library (Grand Army Plaza) and E. Hall (Erasmus Hall High School) just off of Church Avenue and Flatbush Avenue.

I was a super youngin', but, even before I became a Baby Decept (I might get into that 1 day), I knew that Ed was an Autobot.  Niggas called him all kinds of pussy and what not, but he was reppin' for The Bush ... my hood ... Rogers & Nostrand Avenue kids had to love that, right?  Oh yeah, everybody said that I looked like a little version of son as well; I wasn't with that @ all ... lol. I couldn't walk into Sneaker King or the barbershop without hearing that shit.

In retrospect though, Special Ed was an important artist that too many people today forget about yo. My man Ojae FYC has a tag on Special Ed's "Youngest In Charge" album cover ... I think the homie Teo MDC does too. Check out the Lo in this video! Yeah, me thinks that it's time to take my cookie goose to the cleaners and officially get ready for Fall yall.

Michael Jordan = Still The Best Thing Smokin'!

Michael Jordan was spotted over the weekend in Atlanta @ Jermaine Dupri's Celebrity Labor Day Softball Bash (NOTE: Hopefully Jermaine was smart enough to charge for tickets and souvenirs or something in order to generate some dough to keep the I.R.S. off his back).

Anyway, I can't tell you what the final score of the game was or who else played, but I CAN tell you that Jumpman was Bluntman all game; he even slid into 3rd base with stogie in mouth and ripped up his good jeans.  You already know that MJ can almost do no wrong in my book, but, apparently, the American Cancer Society got wind of these pictures and are none too happy with the image that he's portraying.  I guess that where there's smoke there's fire.  Put it in the Air, Jordan.

Ralph Lauren Relaunches Rugby.Com.

At thisislivestyle, it is paramount that I discuss and explain precisely what I deem "good" style and explain the divergence between that and what some people foolishly call "fashion". My designer doctrine is a simple 1: true style endures while fashion followers are generally trend humping whores. That was kind of harsh, huh? I mean, truth is truth and, 1 style that will always endure is that of classic Americana. Nobody does it better than Ralph Lauren and, with the relaunching of his Rugby.Com, he continues to capture that spirit.

Now, the trick here is to cop certain items and then flip their aesthetic on it's ear by personalizing your purchase. It aint nothing new homie, Mr. Lipschitz probably never intended for me to layer Cold Wave jacket over Preppy Bear knit with my pen pocket Guess© jeans on sag ... lol. That's what style does though. You can't go wrong with the classics ... period. You would be wise to snatch up a few pieces from Ralph's new online store ASAP. The smart money knows what time it is. Holla @ ya boy in BK!

"You Can Pay For School, But You Can't Buy Class"

"Awwwwwwwwwww! I'ma kill 'em in the morning!"  The homie Mike epps is too funny. Today is National "Get-Fresh-And-Give-The-School-A-Preview-Of-How-I'ma-Do-It-All-Year-Long" Day ... lol. You already know.

Rihanna Loves That Chicken From Popeye's.

Soooooooooooooo, Rihanna was recently spotted in L.A. running up in Popeye's for her fix. Maybe the "broke" rumors about shorty are true after all because Popeye's definitely aint no Mr. Chow's.  LOL.  Nah, fuck that!  I know that shorty got money, she just loves Popeye's biscuits.  Who can argue with that?  I mean, celebrity or not, Popeye's food is delicious.  She's only human.
