Isaac Hayes, the baldheaded, baritone-voiced soul crooner who laid the groundwork for disco and whose “Theme From Shaft” won both Academy and Grammy awards, died Sunday afternoon after he collapsed near a treadmill, authorities said. He was 65."

If the only thing that you know about this man is that he provided the voice for "Chef" on South Park, you need to walk into a well lit bathroom, look in the mirror and proceed to slap yourself directly in the face! This is no hyperbolic bullshit yall, Isaac Hayes was truly ahead of his time as a composer, arranger and a performer. I can't even tell you the amount of times his music has been sampled. I mean, this man was Truck Turner AND Black Moses ... you aint know? He will be sorely missed, but his historic influence will live on. R.I.P. Isaac Hayes.
